I was going to tent camp in under a grove of Elms and in fact had a great yoga session under their protection but approaching storms changed my sleeping arrangements to the car. Had a front row seat to lots of lightening and wind but no rain. My host graciously guided me in to the camp via messages and talked me through some road detours.

Amazing place to spend time at! Lana’s land will not disappoint you at all. Beautiful property, weather and sunsets. The coyotes howling in the distance was awesome to hear and fall asleep too. If your close to the Ranch and need a place to stay, this is a great spot!

This was our 3rd time staying here! Secluded and peaceful with endless stargazing. We tried a new campsite and it was just as beautiful. Mama cow greeted us at breakfast. The best spot we've ever stayed with our dogs. Met Lana and she is doing a wonderful thing bringing slow grown, nutrient dense food back to market with love! Seriously, try some product!

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset. When we stepped inside the bunkhouse, it was like going back in time minus a few modern conveniences!!! We loved it.!!!!

I spent 2 nights camping up on the mesa site and it was great! It's very quiet and peaceful with the very occasional vehicle driving by on the road below. I would definitely come back and camp at Lone Mound Ranch next time I'm in the area.

Awesome experience! We were in a remote site in a little grove of trees. Amazing stars, wildflowers, coyotes singing at night and birdsong in the morning. If you like the idea of being well off the beaten track with loads of space around you, this is the place for you. Bonus: a cell tower very nearby means excellent service.

Beautiful secluded spot under some tall trees. Heard the coyotes yipping at sunset. Pretty level spot. Table, chairs, and fire pit were all there. It was really windy so I didn’t have a fire. Lots of dirt roads for taking a walk. Great stay!

Super cute little spot! It was truly a good first night in Texas. We arrived late but still made the most out of cooking up some steaks from their store for dinner. We would have loved doing some more exploring but our journey carried us on! We will remember this place for sure!

Remote Bunkhouse - Lone Mound Ranch
The little rustic cabin we stayed in was super cute! We arrived late in the night and had no issues finding it in the dark. Huge plus we were able to have a campfire! The sky was filled with stars which made the night even more magical. Woke up to ice outside and saw the beautiful view for the first time. Our dog liked sniffing around the barn and the hay stacks.

Get there when there is plenty of light left in the day. I messed up and it was dark when I arrived. Any problems that arose were dealt with well by the owner of the property. Outstanding property by the way.

We had a nice relaxing 6 days! Private with a lot of room for our pups to run. Had a hiccup getting there and Lana was super accommodating and understanding. Their Lone Mound Ranch Store was super cute and the Jerky is to die for!!!

We stayed in one of the cabins at Lone Mound Ranch. Lana was super responsive to questions and my family did a trail ride with Chancie that my kids loved!

Absolutely amazing trip! We loved this farm and camp! Good privacy and easy access from a main road(we didn’t have to do any “off roaring” to get there.) Directions were very clear and the host was extremely helpful with additional direction questions to help us arrive after dark. After all that, we were delighted to find trees appropriate for hanging hammocks! Plenty of shade from the trees at the site. There is also a farm store with grass fed beef. You can see lots of wild birds, lizards, and cows! A well behaved bovine came to visit our camp one morning so that she could munch on one of the trees there. Would love to return.
FYI this is not close to any major towns so it’s best to have what you will need for your trip once you arrive. Town of Pampa is an hour away and has Walmart and some other stores.

The beauty and quiet in the surroundings.
The shed was minimal, beds, food area.
Sink, shower, potty bucket outside, all enclosed areas.
I woke at 2 am, and went outside to a clear dark sky filled with stars and quietness!

We loved our time on Lana’s land. Lana was super accommodating, very responsive and just an overall incredible host. Our stay was so comfortable and peaceful. After a long drive we were able to walk and run our dogs and then sit and watch the sky turn pink as night grew.
If we ever find our way back to this majestic place I would make sure we stay longer next time.
