Beautiful view and site felt private. The site is as described. I had a pop up tent for changing and porta potty and despite staking it, it did fall over from the wind. I had to weigh it down with the tent I wasn’t using while car camping. I didn’t mind as the description clearly stated it would/could get gusty. Can’t beat the view and well worth it.

Quiet place to stay, even though we were a ways from the ocean, we could hear the surf. I was a little concerned about it being a grass field, but it was not muddy, even though it had rained that day in January. Photographing around Bandon, we were in late and out early.

Cool place right above the river. Had the whole thing to ourselves with the exception of the worlds friendliest dog who came out to greet us and hang out for a bit (he made the whole stay). Great directions on the booking side and outstanding communication from the hosts.

The site was quiet and peaceful which was welcoming after a long day of traveling. Brian greeted us upon arrival and gave us some places and things to do locally and for when we got to Seattle which was our last place to visit.

We stayed at Prosper Bluff for 4 nights while in Bandon, and it was a perfect home base for our golf trip. Only 10 minutes from Bandon Dunes, we really enjoyed the privacy of the space and the beauty of overlooking the Coquille River.
Brian was very welcoming when we saw him the next day, as we arrived later than we expected and it was dark. The property was exactly as described, and the directions were excellent.

From the moment we arrived I was saying, "I love this campsite! It is so amazing!" The view of the river and wetlands is so dreamy and peaceful. The fishing boats come and go throughout the morning on the river and I found it fascinating, as the town of Bandon has a long history and culture of fishing which intrigued me and made me want to be part of it! The site is well away from two other camp sites and the privacy fence worked well to distance from the hosts, whose house is on the other side but a good distance away. Our stay felt completely solitary, which we loved!! This site is a birder's paradise - bring your binoculars. The weather was fickle - we had clouds, sun, wind, damp fog and rain, but luckily the rain was short-lived during the night, and the sun was surprisingly glorious after mid-day both days. (Forecast was for clouds.) As noted by the hosts, the trail to the dock was steep and we opted not to venture all the way down. I was being careful due to a recent back injury -fit people will have it easier but should take care anyway -trekking poles help. There is occasional noise from the nearby highway/bridge, but it's intermittent and the overall solitude and peacefulness of the place completely outweigh it! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and it is our new go-to campsite in Bandon!!! I want to keep this place a secret but it deserves to be shared! Shhh! The owner welcomed us upon arrival which was so nice as well. :)

What an awesome place with lots of nice grass, over looking the river. It’s very close to town and the whiskey run trails. Brian and his family were very inviting. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay.

Quiet place and easily accessible. Plenty of space for bigger rigs. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the opportunity to meet the host even we see someone at the house

Wonderful place fantastic views!
A bit windy tie tent down and your fine we had a 10x10 pop up with sides that zipped together and guy lines on all 4 corners along with stakes in each leg and we were fine wind gust up to 25+
Nicole met us upon arrival and was great to work with, especially since we ran into car problems and she was very understanding in accommodating our situation.
Like in previous reviews take this site if it’s open so worth it!

This was a perfect place to stay while on my way down the coast. The hosts were wonderful and sent instructions that made everything go smoothly since I got there in the late evening. I would highly recommend ☺️

We are traveling with two well behaved dogs. Nicole and Brian offer a safe and easy place for dog campers. And Great views over the Coquill River. We enjoyed watching the tides change in the wetlands. And the campsite bird life.

We were greeted by Brian a soon as we arrived. Our camping spot was easy to find and perfect for our camper van needs. Brian provided us with the lay of land as well as priceless suggestions on where to go and what to see near and far along the coast. We made it to all the suggestions! So worth the experiences, Thank you! *we saw landsharks the moment we made it over the border!

Great spot close to town but private. Good communication with host. Good directions. Easy in and out. Able to get a good signal which I didn't think mattered until the next night (at a different Hipcamp spot where there was no signal) which definitely impaired communication/directions with that host. Here: no problems whatsoever. Thank you!! I hope to stay on the bluff overlooking the river next time through.

Great spot! Very quiet and quite pretty. Host Brian was extremely welcoming and friendly. We even got a little treat when we arrived - some delicious crab that they had a bit extra of from their dinner. Just a few short miles from the Whiskey Run MTB trails, which is why we were visiting. Brian also gave us some hints on all the fun trails to ride. Will definitely be back. Thank you Nicole and Brian!

Amazing location!! Hosts were fantastic and we loved the dock! They let us use their crab pots and helped with some great tips as well. Kids loved it and beautiful place! We would for sure stay here again!!

The view of the Coquille River and surrounding area is awesome. There is a steep trail leading down to the water. The owners house sits next to the site, separated by a privacy fence. Traffic noise from nearby Hwy 101 can be quite loud but was fairly quiet at night in our motorhome. No one was camped at the other 2 sites so we did have some privacy
