Learn more about this land: Welcome to the Willow Homestead. We are a hip-conscious, eco friendly five acres in the beautiful lower valley of Williams, OR. Expect to see us on the land tending the gardens and animals. Children at play! We live on the property with our children which are 11 and 15, as well as another family with a 2 year old. We have 2 Australian shepherds that are very friendly on the property that run freely, and 4 cats. We are farmers, artists and musicians holding a high vibe. We are offering a stand alone forest cabin with a lovely bathroom and shower. It has a comfortable double bed. There is a mini fridge and a hot plate on the deck.The cabin is approximately 200 square feet. It has a small wooden deck that looks out into the forest. There is a children's play structure available for smaller children. We ask if you bring a pet they are kept on a leash at all times as we have ducks that occasionally free range. Larger dogs are not aloud in the cabin but are welcome to sleep on the deck. AIR CONDITIONING is provided in the Forest cabin! The cabin has plenty of privacy but you can see the other homes in the distance (as close as 70 feet away) NO CAMPFIRES , CANDLES OR BBQ'S !!!!EXTREME FIRE DANGER IN EFFECT!!! We do not provide towels or bedding. We have a lovely hot soaking tub in the deck. If you are interested in this as an option you can book it under EXTRA'S at the bottom of this listing. We are 25 minutes off the I-5 near Grants Pass, OR We are very close to rivers such as the Applegate, the wild and scenic Rogue (Morrissons and Galice resort offer rafting, book ahead!), the Smith river and the Illinois river. Applegate and squaw lake are near by as well as lots of beautiful wineries. Two of my favorites are Cowhorn Biodynamic and Troon. Ashland is a 60 min drive away, Jacksonville is a 30 min drive away. Both are cute historic towns with great restaurants. I have provided a list of recommended restaurants and recreational places in the cabin. I can send it to you prior to arrival upon request. We are a two hour drive to the coast through the redwoods. We border Pacifica Gardens (pacificagarden.org) an incredible place to explore, hike or fish. Soaking Tub for 2experience

We are offering a fill and drain large hot tub style soaking bath. Please do not use soaps in it, but essential oils are ok. it is located in the deck of the Forest Cabin. It takes about 15 minutes to fill. The cleaning as well as the propane costs are the reason for the fee add on. Thank you for understanding. Includes two towels. It is a one of a kind experience especially in the evening as the sunsets.

The cabin was perfect for an easy - no tent glamping experience. Very quiet and semi - private location. Great natural setting and easy access to the Applegate Valley area and all the bountiful beauty it holds.

Just what we needed

Wonderful little cabin that was very convenient and relatively easy to find thanks to the helpful instructions. We booked last minute (same day) and yet Harmony had the place ready to go for us, which was spotless and well appointed for our single night stay as we were passing through the area on our way to visit family. I got a solid night's rest thanks to the comfortable bed and quiet, peaceful environment. We also loved meeting Koda the dog who was very friendly with us and our dog. I'd highly recommend this cabin and we'd love to stay here again at some point in the future. Thanks!

This was my second time staying at Harmony’s cabin. I love the privacy, but knowing neighbors are nearby. It’s close to Pacifica, one of my favorite places to wander in nature. Big highlight is the sweet pups that hung out with me all weekend. It’s truly a special place.

The cabin at Harmonys place is great. I loved the bathroom and room itself. You stay nice and warm in the cabin and it has a great vibe to it..The kitchen outside was a nice touch and even if it can be cold in the mornings, it makes the experience a little more rustic (in a nice way). And Harmony is incredibly gracious and helpful.

Peaceful place

We loved the small cozy cabin and the trees surronding us with all the birds chirping in the morning and the frogs sounds at night. A very peaceful place to stay. We also loved the dogs that were very friendly and playful.

Beautiful cabin with a deck

I think it’s an absolutely perfect little cabin. All the necessities you would need. A very comfortable and good sized, clean place. My only complaint would be a bit more privacy. The deck and tub is in plain view of anyone walking about. I knew that there was another family near the cabin, I just wasn’t aware that it was right next door out in the country. After reading another review that it was private and secluded it was a bit surprising. However it is a beautiful cabin and if privacy isn’t an issue for you, it just may be the perfect cabin.

I loved this little glamping studio! Harmony was so welcoming and I enjoyed the quietness of the woods. The deep soak in the outdoor tub was amazing. The water stayed hot all through my dinner, and so I enjoyed it both before and after I ate and watched the sun go down as I soakef! This was a pleasant drive to Grants Pass and back, where I attended a wedding. A perfect weekend where the days were warm and the nights were cool. Thank you, Harmony, for sharing this little gem with the world! Meeting your family and your dogs was such a pleasant treat!

Harmony is such a great host. I book very last minute & still, she was super helpful & made my stay so sweet. The cabin is lovely, I wish I could have stayed longer. I highly recommend staying there. I felt at home & I even left with some vegetables from their garden!

Delightful, special.

It IS a cabin in the forest! Peaceful, serene, heavenly. The cabin is nicely appointed, with the kind of comforting simplicity that fits the setting. I love outdoor kitchens so the kitchen on the deck was right up my alley. Before I arrived I had opted to add an extra day and was so glad I did. Harmony is a great host, quickly responsive and warm. And the fresh home grown vegys add a special touch. I was very pleased to have met her. Everything about my experience was a delight.

Lovely Weekend at the Forest Cabin

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Forest Cabin with a deck over a weekend as a little retreat. It was a lovely time, such a beautiful property, so peaceful, and many fun things to do in the area. Harmony was so nice and the vegetables from her garden were delicious. The dogs were also incredibly friendly and cute! All in all, we would stay here again.

Charming, homey cabin!

We stayed in the forest cabin for a night with our three year old twins. There was plenty of room next to the bed for them to sleep, and the AC was great because it was 100 degrees when we showed up! We loved that the cabin provided some luxe amenities (AC, a nice bathroom) combined with some of the rustic-ness of camping (camp kitchen, hot plate, eating outside). The dogs and cts we met were so sweet, along with the neighbors (although we sadly didn't get to meet Harmony). For people with kids, the play structure / play kitchen is right outside the door! If we were to come back in the cooler season, we'd definitely pay for the soaking tub add-on. This area is really charming and we hope to come back to explore more!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place was so great!! My friend and I came out for a quick girls getaway and couldn't have been more happy with this choice. Harmony and Jerome were SUPER accommodating and warm. Make sure to ask Harmony to show you the trail to the park!

Harmony's cabin was the perfect getaway. It is cozy and comfortable with AC, a bathroom with sink and shower, and a little "kitchen" set up on the front porch that worked perfectly for cooking meals. We loved the friendly doggos that roamed the property, the trails, and the nearby swimming hole.

Tiny Cabin Retreat in Applegate

What a wonderful retreat to arrive at Harmony’s place after a long drive! The tiny cabin in the forest was beautifully appointed, with thoughtful touches throughout. I was pleasantly surprised to find A/C, which worked out well for such a warm night. Harmony and her family were so welcoming, as well as the dogs (and a puppy named Maple), cat and geese! She sent recommendations for dinner ahead of time and sent me on my way with fresh veg from her garden. My stay was too short, so I’ll be back again!
