This studio space has a private entrance and a private covered porch. The cabin has a full size bed and a futon as well as a fully equipped kitchenette. The cabin has WIFI. The bathroom has a small shower and a composting toilet. Towels, sheets and extra blankets are provided. This cabin is the only cabin on the property and is attached to a 40 acre horse farm with hiking trails, fun bird and wildlife watching. Close to Athens, the Hocking Hills, Lake Hope and Burr Oak State Park.
We also offer trail rides and riding lessons to our guests. We are willing to rent out our kayaks and bicycles and transport those to close by locations for your fun adventure.
The farm offers many nice vistas for tent camping or setting up a small camper as long as you don't mind being totally off the grid.
We are close to the Moonville Rails to trails for great hiking, biking and horse back riding.
We also offer stalls if you would like to bring your own equine and explore the area. For those of you who want to bring your large horse trailer, you can rent my small goose neck which holds three horses to travel to your local fun destinations.This small cabin is set up like a studio apartment. It has a composting toilet, a shower and a fully stocked small kitchen with refrigerator, microwave stove, coffee maker and crockpots. A private small back porch has a propane fire table. Off street parking is available in front of the cabin. This small cabin space is on a working farm that has horses, chickens, ducks, and pigs. Hiking trails are available on our 40 acre property. A queen size bed and a futon provide sleeping areas. Eggs and meats from our farm are available for purchase. Horseback riding can be booked in advance with a 48 hour notice. We provide lessons or trail rides for up to two guests. We are close to the Moonville rail trails and several state parks in southeastern Ohio with easy access to the city of Athens and Ohio university campus.
