Site 3 has a truly awesome view. Highly recommend. The site was well maintained and easy to find. Some minor neighborly traffic maybe 2-3 times a day, really no big deal. Toilet was clean and a nice amenity. Site 1 was nearby, but no one was there, very quiet, dark sky. The only downside was it was very buggy. Lots of biting flies and ticks. A mesh shelter would not be a terrible idea.

This is now my 10th place with hipcamp, The other places were amazing, but this was just spectacular! If you’re looking for a true camping experience with a scenic drive back to the campsite which are beautifully tucked away in their own little spot this is for you. The night sky was breathtaking. Just an all-around amazing stay hurry up and stay before the word gets out because this place is amazing. Highly, highly recommend (:

We stayed at our friends site #3 and it is an absolutely beautiful spot. Couldn’t ask for more. We have an Ekko that is 10 1/2 feet tall and getting to site 2 would have been crazy tough with low hanging branches. Overall had a great stay and would absolutely recommend site # 3 for Rv’ers.

Can confirm site #3 is the best one if you like having a view. If you'd prefer more privacy the others would be better. The camping area is on top of a hill in the area which gives it a little bit of an overlook over surrounding land and a nice view of the sunset/sunrise. We did also see a string of ATVs on the road nearby, but it wasn't a big deal. Didn't use the bathroom or trash so unable to comment on it.

We loved camping here! The view was breathtaking and Shad and Stacy were quick to respond to questions. Our only regret was not staying longer. I saw some reviews that mentioned the ATVs but it was not that bad. They went by on the road nearby once or twice but it didn’t interrupt our lovely stay. Will be coming back but for more nights next time!

We had a wonderful experience camping the weekend at High Point Farm. We stayed at site 3 and were blown away by the amazing views, especially of sunset each night. The site was well maintained and clean upon our arrival, and Shad and Stacy were very responsive to several questions we asked during the booking process. This is an amazing piece of land and we’re grateful the owners have shared it with the Hipcamp community.
Note: we read a few of the prior negative reviews and were a bit worried, after staying we can honestly say that you should not heaistate to book this site. This is a very rural area with a few working farms nearby, we mostly heard the sound of cows down the hill but did hear a few Atvs and farm vehicles from time to time. In our opinion this was a very peaceful site and we were not bothered. The portable toilet was a nice feature, it was tucked away into the woods, and extremely clean.

High Point Farm
I had originally written a longer review, but it was too long for this format.
The person who posted in May who mentioned the ATV going up and down the road was correct that happened until 930 at night and then again at 1:30 in the morning.
The Porta John is in a spot that makes it stick out like a sore thumb. I know it’s a trade-off for the owners and where they put it.
There was fairly regular pick up truck traffic on the road going past the property, to a farm, I guess, not too loud, but some folks might not like it.
Site 1 where I was didn’t have a view even though site 3 does have a great view, that was disappointing, since the view is so nice. Site 1 is tucked into the woods right off the internal property road.
Site 1 had 8 to 10 small stumps and roots sticking out from the ground. most of these were where someone cut down a small tree and left the stump. They were covered with leaf litter. I kept kicking them. Luckily, I had my motorcycle boots on and didn’t hurt my feet. If I had regular shoes on, I think I would’ve hurt my toes. I had to pound sticks in the ground to mark them so I didn’t trip and fall walking around.
There were wasps in the Porta John. I’m guessing the owners do not know about that.
They do have a picnic table and fire ring which is nice.
Seeing that this site was half again or double what I might pay for a regular tent camping site I had higher expectations.

We tent camped at High Point this Fall and it was gorgeous! The sites are surrounded by rolling hills and distant foliage. We stayed in site 2 which was clean and great for two families (we had three tents up). Nights were quiet, aside from the coyotes and deer calls.

The views are phenomenal! Nice clean campsites. The Porta-John was very clean. The road in and out is definitely not for cars without off-road capabilities but we managed fine in our CRV. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property, complete with gorgeous scenic views and nice, wooded secluded camp spots. Really closes to Lake Alma too if you want to go for a swim. 10 outta 10, can’t wait to go back! Thanks Shad and Stacy for sharing your land!

The site was an ok site.
The views were nice. However the grass was not mowed and there were a lot of broadleaf on the ground with sharp thorns all over the site as well as compost, possible manure.
The thorn weeds should have been mowed even if it is primitive. Because that is where the table and fire ring are.
Right at the entrance and porta John behind makes it a very non primitive site. No privacy.
The girl from down below at the campers kept riding her four wheeler up and down the road next to camp.
I would never go back there.
Garbage cans overflowing.
No running water.

We loved our stay at High Point Farm. The views are just breathtaking and we loved the seclusion and feel of being on the farm. We did a lot of hiking and canoeing in Hocking Hills and it was an easy drive. We will definitely be back!

The campsite had tons of fallen sticks and there was roots everywhere so no where to set up the tent without poking a hole in it. They did provide firewood and have access to portable toilet. It would have been lots better if I could have cleared the space out as there was tons of brush around. It was really quiet and isolated.

Shad and Stacy have a beautiful, private property with spectacular views. They are accommodating and communicative hosts. The camps are private and shaded with great fire pits and flat cleared land. Fireworks show on the 4th from the top of the property was one for the books! Will definitely be back!
