Site 2 - Elm Valley
Myself and 3 friends stayed 3 nights at Jayne and Mike's property. We were welcomed in like long time family friends and we instantly felt at home. Jayne and Mike's hospitality were above and beyond - they helped us as first time RV-ers with questions and concerns, we even spent the entire day visiting sites Mike suggested!
This vacation would have been awesome as is - but meeting the Schroeder's and their family friends - we departed from an unforgettable vacation with new Michigan friends!!
We were already talking to the Schroeder's about returning for longer - later this same year.

Such a wonderful place. The host was so joyful and helpful as this was our first RV adventure. We hiked the mini trails and had such a peaceful time. So close to so many cool spots! Hop Lot was our favorite.

This spot was easy to park in, private and very quiet. The hosts and neighbor camper were very friendly but not intrusive. The spot was equal distance from sights and towns. The water and electricity were convenitly located. We had a top notch experience.

The owners were so kind and helpful! The directions to the area were easy to follow. The area was quiet, clean and very pretty. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a getaway or just a place to stay for work travel with their camper!

Our wooded site was quiet and beautiful. Our location was perfect for day-trips: Suttons Bay, Northport, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Fishtown, Kayaking the Crystal River, and other magical Michigan gems. The camp hosts and Jayne and Mike are easy to meet and know. One day we were invited for a camp breakfast, and it was delicious! WiFi works great and our dogs were well received and loved. Our site was multi-tiered. It had the basic back-in site you expect, and then an extended grassy area that is perfect for sun bathing, pitching a tent OR for setting up our portable dog fence (this is how we used it). For those folks who are looking for privacy and wooded beauty - this is your destination.

Site 1 - Elm Valley
Great place to camp. Hosts were incredible. Lots of winery's and ciderys within a few minutes of our campsite. We took a day and went over to torch lake ( about 45min away) ...great ride on the motorcycles. Would definitely consider staying again if we come back to the area.

Our stay at Elm Valley was wonderful. Jaynes place is perfectly located close to many of the things we wanted to see and do ~ winery tours, biking, kayaking, Sleeping Bear, Suttons Bay, Mission Light house - and of course Traverse City.
Our camp hosts Marty & Carol were lovely and helpful !
It was great having electric and water hook-ups since we stayed for 4 days. The spot was private but in the sand. That wasn’t a problem at all but worth mentioning.
We hope to make a return visit soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at Elm Valley! It was a beautiful site with electric and water! We enjoyed sitting out and having a fire with all the trees around us. Wood was available to buy there. The location was so good for exploring everything on the peninsula. It was great meeting Marty and Carol who were overseeing the property for Jayne. They made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again! Loved it!!

I loved our site! Pretty view, and hosts were very helpful and friendly. We had a great weekend along with family in site 1. Close to Suttons Bay and Traverse City, but rural so it was very quiet!

Site 2 - Elm Valley
We stayed here for two weeks and loved every minute of it. It was a great experience with wonderful hosts and a beautiful setting. We actually preferred this over a number of campgrounds we’ve stayed at and would happily stay here again. It is perfectly positioned near Sutton’s Bay and Traverse City with tons of places to paddle, bike, and hike nearby. The hosts were super nice and helpful and are doing an amazing job here.

We immensely enjoyed our time at Elm Valley (Site 2)! The site was quiet, spacious, and offered a beautiful view. Jayne, Mike, and the extended family, whom we had the pleasure of meeting, were friendly and kind. We felt right at home! This is a place we hope to visit again.

Two lovely sites with water and electric hook ups along the driveway of a private home. Very quiet. Really nice hosts! You can bike directly to the Leelanau trail head and a very short walk away is a new vineyard with a great tasting room. Highly recommend!!

Jayne’s Elm Valley Hipcamp is a quiet secluded gem! No issues getting my 30’ TT in and out. Completely private and pristine campsite! We felt we had the entire property to ourselves. This was our 1st Hipcamp stay and we were extremely impressed. Anyone considering a relaxing no hassle stay in the TC area I highly recommend Jayne’s Elm Valley!

Such a lovely spot! The hosts are delightful and the layout of the campsites provides privacy and lovely landscaping. We walked to vineyards down the road. Will totally come back.

I would recommend this Hipcamp, it was exactly what we needed. We stayed here 3 nights. We had water and 30a electric. The property was super clean, quiet and beautiful. We had site 2. The hosts were awesome. They were very responsive when I had a question. She offered dry firewood for $5. What a bargain. There is so much to do in this area, I definitely would recommend.

Site 2 - Elm Valley
My husband and I enjoyed staying at Jayne's picturesque property. Pride of ownwership was evident in the beautiful landscaping. The wooded backdrop softened the noise of the few passing cars. The site had a level gravel area for parking the trailer plus electric and water hookup. A grassy lawn area with a picnic table and fire pit completed the site. Firewood was available but we were too busy exploring the area to use it. Perfect location for exploring several charming small towns, lakes with pinic areas and nature preserves with hiking trails and more wineries than you can imagine! Jayne and husband Mike guided us into our spot. Mike supplied a longer water hose and extension for the electrical hookup and some extra chocks for leveling. They were friendly, even brought over some delicious smoked fish. However, they gave us plenty of privacy and responded to us through email when I could not remember the wifi pw they shared upon arrival. There is another site but the positioning of the sites and trailers was carefully planned giving everyone privacy. We will definitely be back!

This space was easy to find and the hosts were responsive and friendly! Beautiful space, quiet and safe. Easy access to all the vineyards and local amenities. Sutton’s bay is gorgeous with many places to hike, shop and eat. Firewood able to purchase at camp. Will for sure be back!
