A great find close to Frankfort
My wife and I booked a campsite for one night before the Ironman race in Frankfort. Betty and her dog Jazzy greeted us in kind spirits and made us feel very welcomed! Their dog Jazzy is full of energy and loves to play and be around people too.
There were basic amenities like electrical outlets, pit toilet, shower, walking trails. Just about everything that you would need for a couple of nights.
It was a quick easy 10min drive to Frankfort the morning of the race. We really couldn’t have found a better and convenient place to stay over such a busy weekend!
We enjoyed our stay at the farm and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to book in the area!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Marty and Betty and Llovely Meadows! They are our home away from home. When we visit the farm it feels like we're visiting family - but the family you choose, which is even more welcoming! ♥️
We stay at Llovely Meadows once a year and sometimes stop by even when we're not staying in the area. Every time we come to the farm we see something new. They are constantly working, constantly striving to make Llovely Meadows an even better place which I didn't think was possible. I always feel at ☮️ here.
You can feel the love that they put into everything they do. Beautiful little touches like leaving a plant or flower to decorate your picnic table, coming back from an outing to find a bowl of fruit from the farm waiting for you. Even the outhouse is like a sanctuary! And the shower is heavenly.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Northern Michigan! Thank you again Marty and Betty for another wonderful weekend! ♥️🍒🌻🍄🪷

Idyllic location within easy driving distance of Sleeping Bear Dunes and other outdoor destinations. Betty and Marty were great hosts, and we loved getting to know the other campers around the fire pit.

I love camping at Llovely meadows when Salmon fishing is in season, they have great rates and our host Betty brings us fresh fruit to take with us fishing, very family oriented and very friendly, I will camp here again during the Salmon run.

A special experience!
Lovely Meadows Farm is a very special place owned and operated by some very special people! Marty and Betty (and of course Jazzy Bear) welcomed us with big smiles and delicious fruit grown on the grounds. It was an absolute delight to soak in the working farm, the wild flowers, the woods and the night sky. The land and hosts provide the best space to camp, while also providing all the comforts that make typical camping uncomfortable (there’s clean bathrooms, a warm shower, and space to do dishes!). We loved spending time on the farm just as we did the beach and woods. A real gem. Thank you to Betty and Marty for their generosity of space and spirit!

Llovely Indeed!
We stayed at Llovely Meadows August 19-22. The hosts are welcoming and kind. We camped at site 4, which was the most spacious with a wonderful view of the woods and meadow that surround it. I would recommend this particular Hipcamp to anybody looking for a peaceful, chilled, break from home. Take advantage of this extremely dog-friendly, and beautiful piece of Benzie County run by some incredibly friendly people, so convenient for the bike trail, Gwen Frostic, St Ambrose, Platte River and much more.

Site 3 Miracle Zone
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Llovely Meadows! The entrance for Hipcampers is clearly marked from the road and easy to find. The road down the hill to the camping area is a bit steep, but the owners said they are working on getting it fixed up, so no one has any issues getting down or up the hill. There are currently 5 sites to choose from when camping; we stayed in site 3. Each site is large with plenty of room to set up your tent or park a campervan and has a rocker bench and a picnic table. The sites are reasonably level, enough so that we had no issues. We enjoyed sitting in our site in the morning, looking out over a field of wildflowers while listening to the birds.
There is an outhouse for campers and a fantastic semi-outdoor private shower with hot water! There is also a tree house on the property that can be rented through Hipcamp. The tree house has its own hand washing station and picnic table. You have views of the host's garden from inside the tree house.
There is a single large firepit that is community-centered, with all campers invited to join in when a fire gets going.
If you are in this area of Michigan, definitely check out Llovely Meadows. It was only an 11-minute drive to the beach in Frankfort; there is so much to see and do in this area.

The hosts were so cool!! Such a beautiful property, with great trails and all of the amenities you can think of. It was great to share the campfire with the other campers, what an awesome experience! We plan on coming back again!

We camped in early August. No mosquitoes! Hosts have thought of everything to make you feel at home. Very warm and welcoming. It feels like a Bed and Breakfast for campers but without breakfast. There is an electric kettle,tea and toaster for community use! Kids loved walking in meadow and at night staring at the beautiful night sky on the hill in the meadow. Fun swings and playhouse. Hot shower. Beautiful garden and labyrinth. Fun getting to know folks around the bonfire. Great location as base camp. We will be back!

Quiet and relaxing.
Overall it was quiet and a nice place. But the bathroom was gross. The smell was awful.. I would suggest to be as far away from it as possible like camp site 3 or 4. The owners are very sweet and kind. So it made the trip that much better. . We would stay again.

Wonderful Camping @Llovely Meadows!
Llovely Meadows was great again! This was our second year staying there and Betty and Marty were very welcoming once again. The spots they have set up for campsites are all nice with plenty of space. We had spot #4 which is a further walk but still quite close to the bathroom, fire pit, and shower. It feels very private and peaceful. Having the well maintained bathroom and shower are a big plus. Also very kid friendly. They have a nice little playground area and plenty of little trails close to the campsites. So many little touches that add to the camping...clotheslines, solar lights for paths, water coolers at each site, electric water kettle by the bathroom. I'm sure we'll be back again!

We had the best time at Lovely Meadows! The property is gorgeous, and Betty & Marty were the best hosts. There are so many lovely details that they've provided- from the amazing organic vegetables from their garden, to the peace garden that they lovingly created for everyone to enjoy. We were so glad to have found Llovely Meadows! What a wonderful place run by wonderful people. It could not have been a better experience for our family and we would love to come back sometime.
Betty & Marty were very nice (part of our family was staying in an Airbnb in Beulah) and were welcome to come together at Llovely Meadows with the rest of the group to have BBQ and sit around the bonfire. Marty gave us a tour around the gardens and had great tips what to explore in the area. Our son loved to play with the dog.

Great for dogs!
Betty Ann and her husband Marty were friendly, helpful and positive. They made the rounds twice per day to make sure their guests were having a good time. They even hosted a campfire one night to give everyone a chance to get to know each other.
There were 3 other dogs around and all of them were super friendly and well behaved. Our labradoodle had so much fun.
The other campers were all respectful and there were no problems. Everything you could imagine needing is provided communally including shampoo, bug spray, toilet paper, etc…
I hope I get a chance to see them again.

We really enjoyed camping here. Just keep in mind that there are not individual campfires so plan accordingly for food prep. The property was beautiful and people were nice. It was a great place to stay!

We had a lovely time with Betty and her husband, Marty. They were very attentive hosts and had lots of little touches that made the experience stand out, including the artsy outhouse. The outdoor shower was a fun experience for the kids as well as the themed and decorated playhouses. We will definitely be back!

Very enjoyable stay
Me and my friends had an amazing experience staying at llovely meadows. The host was out of town for two of the days we were there but made sure we were taken care our entire stay. Beautiful land and such a friendly environment. I 100% recommend this campsite to anyone wanting to camp in crystal lake area.

Loved camping here. It was close to Beulah and Frankfort but very quiet .
There is a real attention to detail with a lot of art everywhere, beautiful wild flowers, and well stocked cleaning stations. The host have thought of everything!
Site 4 is a little far from the latrine if you need to go in the middle of the night - and also a ways from the fire pit ,but it is very private.

Really nice sized grassy lots to set up on. Hosts are very friendly and sweet. The outhouse on sight was the cleanest outhouse I have ever seen in my life. And the my favorite was the lights wrapped around each site. They're absolutely adorable.
