Our property sits along a quiet rural road with mature trees, open lawn, and plenty of room to relax. You’ll feel tucked away in the country while still being only 3 minutes from the entrance to Clinton State Park, about 15 minutes from the University of Kansas campus, and 20 minutes from downtown Lawrence. We are also 1 hour from MCI Airport and downtown Kansas City, and just 30 minutes from Topeka, the state capital. The campsite includes a level gravel parking pad (20 ft. x 30 ft.) with an electrical hookup, plus a small outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or unwind after a day at the lake. Guests are also welcome to use the fire pit for an evening around the fire. Traveling with dogs? They’re welcome here! Our property includes a fenced backyard, giving your pups a safe place to stretch their legs after a long day on the road. We know how difficult it can be to find camping accommodations that work well for travelers with dogs, so we’re happy to offer a space where they can enjoy the trip, too. Firepit, private. Fire pit available to use if there's no burn ban. It's about 60 feet from the pad. No campfires allowed except in provided fire pit.

Pets allowed

Off leash. We are about an acre from a busy road, but have a fenced in back yard off the main house that can be utilized for your visit. We have 2 large doodles and 1 standard poodle who can stay sequestered or socialize if your dogs are friendly. We ask pets stay on leash unless they are in the fenced in area.

No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets
