Amanda was a wonderful host, very attentive and sweet. The property is gorgeous and the creek is the perfect remedy for a hot Florida day. The property pup Bella was sweet as can be and she welcomed our pup openly. This is the perfect place to unplug and recharge. We will definitely be back.

I decided to treat my parents while they were in town to a night in the woods. This is now going to be the new tradition when they come. My dad absolutely loved it and actually wants to go back. Amanda has truly cultivated a uniquely wonderful camp experience. Plan on eventually trying to get the whole family out there for a camp weekend.

Very beautiful place. Well kept. Amanda went the extra mile too when my grandaughter
forgot/lost her stuffed animal somewhere in out yurt. Great place, will stay there again.

The area was ready for us to start enjoying ourselves. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The only thing that was a little unsettling was the gun fire that seemed rather close. But everything else was perfect. The bathhouse was very clean, the property was very well kept to nature and we will come back again.

The host is amazing. She is very welcoming and attentive. The site is super clean and peaceful with enough room between sites to ensure privacy.
Loved the covered outdoor kitchen area and the cedar walled restrooms. As for the waterfront: you just gotta go experience it! Thank you Amanda. P.S. we all loved Bella.

Amanda the owner is awesome, but we loved Bella her 15 y/o pup the best! Great location easy to play on the river/creek, hike some trails, be relaxed in peace and beauty.
We stayed at the rv spot- we didn’t have a 30min converter so she let us borrow one - great weekend on river

The Wandering Path #8 -hike-in site
Our relaxing camping trip was a fun! Our site was tucked away next to a river. Very remote and off grid but still felt comfortable and safe. Amanda made sure we knew exactly where to go with specific directions to the site. If you go in the warmer months do not underestimate the amount of mosquitos here! We a few thermacell lanterns and strong bug spray that kept most of the bugs away from the campsite but got eaten up walking to and from the bathhouse. That was to be expected though. Lovely camp site!

Wow! What an experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtful and beautifully maintained. The grounds were pristine, and you could tell so much love and care goes into keeping this place special.
The bathhouse blew us away—it was such a treat to have a full bathroom while camping! The cook shack was another awesome touch. Having a real sink to clean after cooking made our experience feel both rustic and fancy.
We stayed at the primitive hike-in Site 8, and WOW—what a gem. Tucked away on a creekside cliff, it felt like our own private hideaway in the woods. Amanda, our host, recommended bringing a cart for the hike in, and I’m so glad she did—it made setting up camp a breeze. The site itself had everything we needed: solar lights, a fire pit with a cooking grate, a trash can, and a picnic table, with tons of room for our tents and gear.
Our two boys spent the entire weekend playing in the creek, which might just be the dreamiest spot we’ve ever seen. We loved being able to float down the water, hike along the property, and just let the kids be wild and free while still having everything we needed close by.
Amanda was such a lovely and thoughtful host. She checked in to make sure we were all set and even passed by while floating the creek herself! That little moment summed up the whole weekend-fun, relaxing, and full of heart.
We’re so grateful for this experience and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!

The Wandering Path, Primitive #4
I could not recommend Amanda's place more highly! It's in a perfect location, right next to the most beautiful creek and far enough away from civilization that there's virtually no road noise. The bathhouse and outdoor kitchen are both amazing things to have, and Amanda was a helpful and attentive host. I'll definitely be back soon.

We loved staying at Amanda’s place! She’s was such a friendly host. We stayed at campsite number 8 and it was perfect for us. I loved floating the creek. It was clear and shallow!!

Had a fantastic stay at the wandering path. We travelled with friends and booked yurts 1 & 2 which share the same entrance path so was super convenient. They were close but not to close. There was a good amount of people staying there that weekend but we had no issues with noise or waiting for the restrooms. The bathroom is an added bonus with hot showers. Especially after dipping in the creek. We loved our time there and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from city life.

The Wandering Path, RV site
Amanda is an absolute gem. She was so accommodating from the start. My sister and I arrived there Thursday afternoon and was immediately greeted by sweet Bella. (Amanda’s dog) She hung around with us for a lil bit and then left to make her rounds of the campground. She came back a lil later and said hello again before headed back home for the night. Amanda greeted us right away as well. She made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to pick anything else up that we may have forgotten when she went to the store later that afternoon. The campground was beautifully set up. We stayed at the RV site. My sister had her RV and I set up my rooftop tent on my jeep. The bathroom facilities are adorable. Amanda went above and beyond when she designed them. Very rustic and quaint. I could go on and on about Amanda and The Wandering Path. She personally called me on our way out thanking us for staying out there and then wished me a happy birthday today. That was the icing on the cake for me:) I told her that we will definitely make my bday and annual trip. Thanks again Amanda for the hospitality. We couldn’t be more happier with our stay. Give sweet Bella some love from us until next time.

Big enough but small enough

I brought my 4.5yr camping at his request. Site 8 was the perfect spot for him to get the full camping feel but to still have access to a bathroom and also our car in the event we had to leave. The area was big enough that we felt secluded but I knew if I needed to find help I could. Which was a good peace of mind for a single mom.

Amanda is definitely a super host ! Mother nature moved us south for better weather and Amanda accepted us on her beautiful property right on the creek. The vibe was relax and every guest we talked to was chill and all had good things to say about their stay. Bella came visit often to make sure we was taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place

We had a fantastic time staying at The Wandering Path. Stayed at tent site #8 which is more secluded and it worked out perfectly since we had a pup with us. This was a nice in-between of a typical state park style campground and backcountry camping. The spots are spread out enough so you aren’t on top of your camp neighbors but you still have a picnic table, fire ring and access to some facilities like an outdoor kitchen and a bathhouse, both of which were very nice and extremely clean. Amanda is a fantastic host and I am looking forward to spending more time camping at the wandering path in the future!

The whole experience was amazing. Amanda was very helpful and was nice to talk to.
The bathroom set up and kitchen set up was nice and clean. She had small heater, fan, lamp, and heated blanket that made it more comfortable for the cold nights and warm daytime. I liked how she also proved a grill and trash can for each yurt site.
I hope to come back again to enjoy the kayaking and nature view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at camp site #5. It was large enough for our 6 person tent. 4 of us stayed there comfortably. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The bathrooms were perfect. The host was very kind. We will be back!
