So fun (but come prepared)!
Tent
I personally loved the entire experience ! However, I do recommend coming prepared !! the site has no amenities, but I have a camping toilet with a toilet tent, which made things so much easier. Louis provided me with a little table but if you’re planning to come with a ton of food, cooking gear, supplies, cosmetics, etc, I recommend maybe even bringing a folding table as the site does not have anywhere to set your things on or for u to sit.
I also recommend bringing some kind of sleeping pad to bring up into the tree with you. I’m really glad I brought two of mine bc the ropes that make the net are quite stiff and I can’t imagine sleeping directly on them for multiple nights. With my sleeping pads, sleeping bags, and wool blankets, I seriously had some of the best sleep of my life! I loveddddd sleeping in that tree so much.
Heads up: you are at the end of the Host’s driveway in a mildly populated small town. So, you will hear cars, passerbyers, people cycling nearby, etc. I always pack earplugs when I’m camping, and I’m really glad I did because I ended up needing to use them to get to sleep.
Other than that— the host’s cats are CRAZY CUTE. They wear these little bells around their neck, so I would hear them coming to greet me in the morning. Such a sweet way to wake up!
I recommend staying here for sure, but come with everything you’d possibly need to make the set up as comfy as possible! Don’t just show up with a couple blankets and food lol.
Thanks Louis !!
