Located in Northern California our mountain top campsite includes expansive views of Redwood Valley, Ridgewood Summit, and the Mendocino National Forrest. Lake Mendocino is only 20 minutes away where guests can enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and boating. Mendocino county is home to several award winning wineries and dining experiences featuring farm-to-table dishes, local vintages, and brews. The Coastal Redwoods and Pacific Ocean beaches are only 60 to 90 minutes drive through the worlds oldest and tallest trees (feels like Jurassic Park without the dinosaurs). The campsite features running potable water, a propane grill, a private outdoor hot shower, and standard but clean port-a-potty.

SMC stop for meteor showers!!

Sky Ridge Camp - Star View Tent #1

Sky Mountain Camp hosted by Joei is an awesome place. My wife and I have found an annual place to visit for the meteor showers. Night time sky was fabulous and we got to see the milky way in all its glory. The daytime is a little hot, but the provided dipping pool was a perfect plus. Here glamping tent is everything you want. A small fridge, microwave (wish we would have known for popcorn!), and even a hot pot for water, THe outdoor shower and kitchen were well stocked and clean! loved it. Thanks Joei!

Sky Ridge Overlanders Campsite

The area is lovely with views in all directions. Joei was great and actually helped us upgrade to the enclosed tents since no one was staying there. The do it yourself tent site was private and sunny. The communal areas are very well equipped. There is a table close to the enclosed tents and one up on a hill with views. It's nice to feel like you could hang with a group or have your privacy. Would recommend!
