Beautiful site with the sound of the river all around. Sam was very friendly and helpful. We notified him that our air mattress was leaking the first night (we did have to drive to find reception, which was clearly marked on a map our host had texted to us) He came over with a new mattress and some extra blankets. The second night was very comfortable. Extras provided included 5 gallons of water, cooking pans, utensils, disposable plates and plastic eating utensils, dish soap, bug spray, battery operated lanterns, camp chairs and board games. The water is clear and cold! There are several beautiful hikes. We enjoyed peaceful off grid time together and in nature.
Side note: the creek was mid calf depth at the crossing. It would not have been difficult to drive through per se, but the inclines up out of the creek are steep and rutted. If you don't have a high clearance vehicle, you will probably bottom out. We chose to park and pack everything across. Bring your water shoes!

We loved the fact that it was very primitive and private style camping. Campsite #1 was right on the water and the sounds of the rushing waters as you fall asleep are unbeatable. This campsite offers tons of trails and waters to explore and fish, and it’s right up the road from the Kings river falls which is a beautiful short hike to a picturesque swimming hole underneath the falls.

We got this campsite on short notice. We were unable to cross the small stream in our vehicle but were able to park right next to it and walk across with our gear. It was right after three straight days of rain. My in laws were able to drive their sequoia across and one of the other campers was able to drive their truck across ,Very beautiful location. Two creeks meet right next to campsite one. Good little bluegill and smallmouth fishing spot. Nothing huge, but some entertainment. Would recommend this location to my friends. There is no cell phone reception which is perfect.

We weren’t able to keep our reservation due to tornado and flood warnings throughout the area, but Sam and Michelle were so lovely and proactive about contacting us and making sure we knew what was going on. Still hoping to stay here one of these days!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars – Awesome Off-Grid Riverside Campground!
This off-grid campground was a blast! Super clean and surrounded by trees with a cool river nearby. Our tent site had a fire pit and picnic table, perfect for s’mores under the stars. Loved the hiking trails and kicking back by the river.

I love how secluded the spot was and how much of an adventure it was just passing over the creek to get to our spot. The kids had a lot of fun next time we'll rent spot number 5 for an even more personal space. Even though the space we chose which was number four was very secluded and had a great view and we really enjoyed having the creek right by our spot the sound of the rushing water was phenomenal and even though it rained it was a wonderful wonderful trip we will definitely be back!

The space was amazing! Right on the river so we fell asleep to the sounds of the water flowing. Unfortunately at 3am the weather took a turn but Sam went above and beyond by coming down and checking on us to make sure we were okay. He even came in the morning to double check.

Everything about this site is peaceful and Serene. We enjoy tent camping and we love being in nature. No matter what site you have you will hear the creek. We really couldn't have been happier we will definitely be returning.

Beautiful site and we had such a great time! Very easy walk to the falls and the two sweet dogs hanging out with us all day was a plus. This site was secluded from the other sites but still easily accessible to the restrooms.

Site 1 - Kings River Falls Camping
Absolutely beautiful views on the hiking trail nearby. The hosts were really nice and the campground dogs are adorable. I would not recommend trying to find this place in the dark, read the directions they give you carefully.
Site 1 is right on the swimming hole and you can hear the creek, the water is so clear as well, it’s very pretty and peaceful. The tent rentals were nice and convenient, they set them up for us.

The campsite was great and the area was beautiful. A good swimming place if have that in mind while trying to find a campsite. There was definitely a lot of places to adventure to and a great place to make memories. The only complaints I would have is that the campsites were not numbered, so other campers were a little confused. It’s also a little hard to get across the creek to the campsites. Not because of the water but because of the uneven rocky dirt road. Even in a truck it was a little hard to get across.

It's very secluded and that is nice. But, some other campers came in late, about 10:15 p.m. the last night I stayed there and started making lots of noise (i.e. yelling to each other and banging stuff around while trying to set up camp) and with no host on site or cell phone signal I was reluctant to say anything to them because they had obviously been drinking or something. You are definitely isolated from society at this campground. That can be great but can also be an issue if the other campers don't have respect for others.

This campsite is a truly beautiful and peaceful primitive retreat. The natural rock formations, flowing stream, and water hole provided the perfect backdrop for our overnight stay. The road to the site is rough, so be sure your vehicle has good tires. Our all-wheel-drive Toyota Highlander handled it just fine.
We had the entire campsite to ourselves, making the experience even more serene. The location, nestled in a canyon beside the creek, offered a refreshing breeze at night, and the sound of running water was better than any white noise machine. I slept like a baby.
Hiking is easily accessible right from the campground, and the nearby nature trail is a short drive away. The views and swimming spots along the trail are breathtaking. The campsite itself has well-placed fire pits, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. This is the perfect place to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature. We will be frequent visitors now!

Unfortunately, we had to spend the night in a spot different from the one we paid for. There was a group of people in our spot. Campsite #1 is the only spot to the right, so there was no way of confusing their own booking with the one we reserved. It would be great if the different spots could be clearly marked, and it would be even better to make it clear that the sites are not "free-for-all".
Apart from that, the property is in an amazing location, beautiful creek and swimming holes. We had a lot of fun exploring the local area.
Things to note: no cell service, creek crossing was fine in a stock Subaru Outback.

Have stayed here a number of times over the years and have enjoyed it every time. The setting is idyllic and can’t be beat. The only complaint would be the state of the ports-pottys. They are pretty dire, and I spend a lot of time on construction job sites, so I’ve seen the gamut. I will continue to camp here but will go back to my old toilet setup next time. Do not let this prevent you from staying here because it is one of the best spots around. Just plan accordingly.

The campsite and the location were splendid, we got a perfect camping experience. The weather was a little bad and we reached very late in the night, but the experience we had was totally worth it!
Would also recommend hiking the trials close to the campground :)

I LOVED this campsite. It was so beautiful, clean, and quiet. I was absolutely floored by how gorgeous the water was. It was not too hard to find, we took a wrong turn at one point but we were eventually able to figure it out.

The land was absolutely beautiful, the drive in as well. A local basset hound named Biscuit came and gave us a visit! Only down side was the campsite were a little closer together than I would of liked, maybe a 20ft gap between, but good for meeting people if that's your thing. Probably feel more secluded in the summer with more leaves between us. But the area was incredible, even without the water. Will have to visit again after more rainfall.

Site 2 - Kings River Falls Camping
We enjoyed our time! It was nice to get away and the lack of cell service only added to how much we enjoyed our time. The written directions sent were easy for us to follow even without a working GPS. The campsites aren’t labeled which I believe causes some confusion for campers and saw multiple people get stuck in the crossing - would recommend parking in the parking area if you don’t have 4WD so you don’t ruin your vehicle. It is pretty close to the campsites. Overall, it was a very beautiful area with lots to see, but most of the water is dried up right now due to the lack of rain in the area recently. The fall colors more than make up for it though. We would stay again and recommend this campsite

It was a great time, we enjoyed the camping spot. Would absolutely go back for a second time and would recommend to anyone. It was super remote and off grid which is what we were looking for. At one point there was even a small beagle who spent his time with us at the campsite, a nice addition to our trip. The campsites were very well taken care off.
