This is a remote and rugged campground with caves, bluffs, swimming holes and river a plenty. This campground has a grand exhibition of the same sandstone formation that is responsible for the Whitaker Point (Hawksbill Crag) formation.
Clovis like points have been found here, and so one might assume the bluffs and crags here have been inhabited for millennia.
This 7 acre property is completely surrounded by Arkansas Natural Heritage-Natural Area. There are miles of trails and cooling waters at every turn.

Most of our campsites are just yards away from a public swimming area, which is shared between our property and the Arkansas Natural Area. You should expect local traffic at the main swimming area
during your stay.
We have a private swimming area on our property which is just a short hike from the developed campsites (Please ask the camphost for directions).
There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

Activities and amenities include swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, a 6-acre foraging field and 9-hole Frisbee golf course, bouldering, zen/meditation deck, climbing, psicobloc and more outdoor pursuits than one has time to pursue. Children can enjoy the Ninja rope course with zipline, slackline, and rope swing and petting Biscuit and Buttercup – our favored Kunekune forest pigs. The Pea Ridge Bike Camp has 20 primitive campsites available for visitors to Northwest Arkansas and can accommodate tent campers, campervans, small and large campers and RVs. Even smaller Class A motorhomes (length isn't an issue but weight on a grassy field might be a concern should it rain heavily)
We offer large, spacious campsites along with firepits, free firewood and large cable spool tables at each campsite. Potable water, 2 outdoor sinks, 2 outdoor showers, 4 large ADA portable toilets (1 in front and 3 in back), and trash bins are centrally located to most of the areas. There is a large in-ground community firepit, a large canopy, 4 picnic tables on the property, a propane barbecue grill, a bike wash station, 2 hammocks on frames and a vintage phone booth (with phone charging capabilities, visitor information and trail maps) onsite. We have added a school bus with a booth and 3 benches as a hangout during inclimate weather. We are currently providing free firewood for each firepit. Very flexible check in/out times.
Pea Ridge Bike Camp is about 7 miles to downtown Bentonville and only 5 miles from Exit 88 and I-49. We are located n the country, yet only 1/8 mile to state highway 72. Restaurants, food trucks, groceries, banking and laundry facilities are only 2 miles away in Pea Ridge.
We have 10 designated campsites and 10 dispersed campsite locations that are not in any designated area to allow guests some say as to where they camp. We are very flexible with arrival and departure times. We do offer group camping
We will allow low-noise generators to be used in dispersed campsites. ** Please let us know If you are planning to use a generator.
Our campsites are large with some being very shady and others in full sun. Great for those equipped with solar power.
Since our intention is to provide camping space for visitors to the area, we limited the length-of-stay to 10 days. If you are a VISITOR to the area looking to stay for more than 10 days please notify me and I can lift the length-of-stay. Please call with any questions or concerns.

Welcome! We want to note on the front hand that if you decide to stay with us you will be staying in a pasture behind a gate. This is especially important if you are tent camping, because your things will be safe while you explore Hot Springs and surrounding areas unlike a State Park or regular campground!
Our land is home to a plethora of animals that you can visit with or just watch during your stay.
Depending on the time of year and where we are at in our pasture rotation will dictate where the horses and most of the cattle herd are at. If you message me I can let you know! Our goats and a couple of our cows are at the end of the road on the right!
The animals you can see are our cattle (most of their names are on their ear tags), horses, goats (working on getting collars with names), Pickles the mini donkey (he’s with the cows), and chickens (when they go out to free range).
We also have a stocked pond that you can bring your fishing gear and fish! There are bass, catfish and bream!
If you want to love on a cow then Pepper the Holstein is your girl! Pepper knows her name and will come up to talk to you if you call her from the herd.
The horses names are Vivian and Bonnie and they sometimes stay in the pasture with our campers, but they are at a different pasture for now! Vivian is the larger of the two white horses and she loves attention. Bonnie is also white, but she is a bit smaller. She is Viv's sister!
There is also always the opportunity to see several species of wildlife while here.
Part of our land is cleared for pasture and the rest is undisturbed forest. Two different creeks and hundreds of cedars adorn the land, hence the name "Cedar Creek Farms." Come enjoy the sounds of Ouachita Mountain nature and farm life with us!

Nestled between Ouachita National Forest property and the Ouachita River, our Haven is a peaceful little slice of nature for you to take a break, catch your breath, and enjoy the outdoors! Property has 1000 ft of river access, with canoe & kayak docks, swimming hole, volleyball and tetherball, horseshoes, swings.
We offer hiking, mountain biking, and river shuttles as well as canoe/kayak/tube rentals and shuttles. Such trips should be reserved in advance by messaging us or visiting our website.
Our office sells firewood for $5/bundle. We also have a small array of custom woodwork items from our woodshop, freeze dried snacks and hiking restocks, food from local vendors, and souvenirs!
All primitive sites have a picnic table, fire ring, and campfire grill grate.
Electric sites are 30 amp, if using for tent camping you will need a 3-prong converter (we can rent one to you for $5 if you do not have your own). RV/Camper MAXIMUM length is 28 feet.
Tipi rental is a camping experience only; it does not have electricity, a/c or heat. There are solar lights inside. We do have a Queen Sized outdoor bed and bedding available to add to rental for $10/night.
Bunkhouse is a camping experience - bring your own bedding. A/C, heat, electricity, TV & DVDs, Microwave, and Mini fridge are inside. Guests use campground restrooms
Campground restrooms and showers are a short walk from campgrounds.
We are pet-friendly. Dogs must be leashed at all times that they are not in a tent or camper and friendly with other dogs and people. There is a working dog on the property-he is friendly with all people and dogs.

We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. Just as described. Remote and peaceful, cows were a bonus. Owner was very kind. All the sites are perfect, had the whole place to ourselves so it was hard to choose, booked 5 but ended up moving to creekside at the very end, loved the big flat stones and swimming hole.

Weekend Trip to End of the Trail
The views were beautiful, the water was cold, rejuvenating and refreshing to swim in, and the energy truly felt sacred and powerful. My partner and I identified over 30 types of birds, saw salamanders, a variety of butterflies, and even some deer while we were exploring the land. We had a campfire every night, espresso in the mornings by the lull of the river and didn’t even know the other site nearby was reserved as well until we crossed paths on the river. Loved the direct water access at the campsite and multiple spots as options to put the tent up as well as the sheltered area on site! The star-lit sky was bright every night and it felt amazing to get out of the city and lose ourselves in Mother Nature. Will absolutely be back and highly recommend for anyone!
Being out here forces you to slow down, and be present within yourself and your surroundings.. After backpacking, camping and exploring nature for over 15 years as a hobby, this is by far one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed.

The site was located in a beautiful spot and in our opinion was the best location of all offered. Tucked away with full forest canopy and right alongside the Ouachita River it was amazing. Bathrooms were clean with flushable toilets and nice hot showers. The only negative was lack of signage for where the “office” is, so if you need to check-in or request firewood you’re left wondering if you’re supposed to go to the private residence. Fortunately after wandering the property for a bit the host saw us and came out to assist. Very friendly and welcoming hosts!
We’d definitely come back and overall it was an amazing visit!

The location was beautiful. Host provided great written directions. We ended up having pretty great weather all weekend and really enjoyed hiking and exploring the area. The water was a bit too cold to spend a lot of time in it, but we still dipped our toes in and loved the scenery.
Tips/tricks:
1. We went at the end of May and the moisture/ humidity in the air was insane. Bring something to help get your fire moving.
2. There are ticks (like most primitive camping) bring deep woods spray.
3. For site reference, site #1 and #5 are right by walkways to the river. But every site runs along it. The porta-johns are between sites 2 & 3.
Overall we would one hundred percent recommend and come back. We love disconnecting and enjoyed the seclusion and drive as well.

We had a great time tent camping at Valley of Peace! Made a last minute booking and it far exceeded our expectations. Despite the holiday weekend, the spot next to us was empty so we had a great amount of privacy.
Loved walking a few steps to the creek to fish and watching the cows as we cooked breakfast!

The valley of peace is incredible. From the moment one drives in the world stops, time is lost, and nervous system is calm. Staying at site 6 was delight being right on the creek. The roaring water combined with the sites spaced out enough plays big part in having your own space and not hearing neighbor campers. Walter is friendly, warm, and welcoming. He stopped by several times throughout the trip to check in and ask if there’s anything I need. I will certainly be back

Enjoyed our stay will definitely come back again with the kids. The water felt amazing even tho it wasn’t very hot outside which was surprising since most rivers or creeks are so cold, beautiful views.

Valley of Peace is exactly that - a valley of peace. We came for a getaway, to unwind and find some rest. Boy did we find it! The stream was beautiful and the sounds were amazing to fall asleep to and wake up to every day. My kids were able to play up and down the creek bed. Such a fun adventure for them. Walter was a great host. He came by to check on us, made sure we had ice and firewood, but ultimately let us enjoy our quiet time as a family. It is off the beaten path if I’ve ever seen one, but one well worth it.

Very quiet and peaceful! Plenty of room for my dogs to run around without getting themselves into any trouble. Second time staying and it rained 3/5 days we were there, but it was still enjoyable. A little bit of rain got in the shelter, but nothing too bad. Only had 1 odd run in with someone floating down the river who needed to get out at our camp site, but other than that, this has quickly become one of my favorite camping spots.

I loved camping out here! The hosts were super friendly and helpful in making sure we understood where everything was on the property and getting the extra packages we purchased to us very soon after our arrival. Very nice camp sites with fire pits and grills and was generally very quiet and well maintained with gorgeous views and lots of wildlife!
