Weekend Trip to Illinois River Paradise | 60 Acres

I loved tent camping on Tyler's property! He kept up consistent communication, he explained everything very thoroughly. We loved the kayaking as we are new to it, it was great to have those available and the lookout point was beautiful. Everything was set up very nice and cozy and it was very clean.

Beautiful park we had a great time! We enjoyed the swimming hole access right from our site. The sight is off the beaten path but worth the drive in! I plan to make a trip back in the future.

This site was so peaceful, nice cool breezes. Creeks and swimming holes surrounding the site. I had a wonderful time hiking down the creeks to each spot for a float. Watching the minnows, tadpoles and crawfish. The cave behind the main swimming hole is much larger and higher up than I thought. A must see. I took so many pictures, everything was so gorgeous. The drive over the creek was something. It was less about the creek and more about the hill on either side of it. Use caution and bring a wagon to carry your things. You'll also be driving a dirt road through the trees for quite a while to get there. The marker across from the schoolhouse does not stand out, follow the owner's directions carefully.

We only stayed for a brief time but even before we got to the campsite they were so sweet and accommodating! The set up was so perfect, loved the covered area for the tent and the super convenient set up to help with grilling and dinner! Even had the cutest little games tables set up next to the tent! 20/10!! We will absolutely be back to enjoy their little slice of heaven again! Thank y'all for checking off a bucket list for us!

This place is a true hidden gem. My son and I embark on an annual camping trip, and we’ve found our ideal retreat to revisit for years to come. Tyler and his boys went above and beyond to ensure the property was perfectly prepared for our arrival. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming, exploring, hiking, and eating way too many s'mores around memorable campfires. As someone who prefers solitude over crowded campgrounds, I appreciated the seclusion this location offered, providing the perfect escape for a few days. Highly recommend—10/10.

2 nights at Thunder Mountain Private River Camp

The host has seriously thought of everything here. From the outdoor games, comforts in nature, vintage soda machine, and watercrafts available, it is awesome. We absolutely loved our stay! We enjoyed the private site, pedal boating, swimming with our dogs, and the luxurious shower house. Taking a bath while overlooking the water was stunning! It was amazing to have comforts like a bathtub, shower, and flushing toilet while camping! We can't wait to go back.

I’ve camped here several times and it’s my favorite spot in Arkansas! Absolutely beautiful, plenty of privacy from anyone staying at the other sites, great hiking! Primitive spot for a great camping trip.

Weekend Trip to Indian Creek Hideaway

Lewis’ site was a gem. Loved the privacy and the stream near by was the highlight. He was able to get us firewood that was ready before we arrived and it lasted us our whole stay. Great memories made with me and my 3 boys (and the dog!).

2 nights at Illinois River Paradise | 60 Acres

Incredible trip! Tyler provided excellent directions, and we found the site with no issues. He was extremely responsive and even left us a few extras because of the muddy road. The campsite was cleared and well maintained, with a fire pit, lounge chairs and two picnic tables. It was completely shaded (SO NICE) and right on the river. There is also a set of lounge chairs and small chimney in the perfect spot for watching the kids and sunsets, overlooking the water. The river itself was also amazing! We only swam and floated on tubes but it was super relaxing and my kiddo loved it. We also brought our dogs and they had an excellent time running and swimming off-leash. The bugs and ticks were minimal (did we get lucky? lol) and Tyler offered suggestions to mitigate. We had a few (of our own) obstacles when packing up and Tyler was extremely accommodating and understanding. Overall I would say this trip was 10/10. Would highly recommend. THANK YOU, TYLER!!?

As always it was a fantastic week!! We had a little rain but the water was way up and the falls were amazing!! The site is fantastic plenty of shade!! We will be back soon!!

We loved being secluded ☺️ we had The place to ourselves. Having the shower and restroom was a nice convenience since the kids were camping too. The onsite waterfall hike was fun and having the Sweeden creek falls just 5 min down the road was a nice surprise. Cant wait to come back ♥️ thank you for providing a safe and comfortable place for us to camp .

2 nights at Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

Omg what a beautiful, amazing, secluded spot we went with our 3 children and stayed at the cabin we had such an amazing time!! The whole campground is full of beautiful spots to swim watch the water and hang out. Tanners pool trail was outstanding with so many waterfalls and spots to play in the water! We will absolutely be coming back and making this a regular family camping spot!! 😊

This spot was incredibly remote, and was fantastic once I got all setup. I will say I stayed at spot 2 and it was not clearly labeled, but was the 2nd spot in sequence, so I figured it out. I think that they should label the spots somehow to avoid confusion. There was some minor trash that the previous campers left, the worst being a broken bottle that I picked up. Additionally, the picnic table was not there at site two seems like it was stolen. There were rocks, I used as a fire ring. Regardless, this spot was incredibly beautiful. Sleeping while hearing the rushing water was relaxing!!! I would recommend it if you are adventurous and like to swim in creeks. The hike of the Kings River nearby was also gorgeous!!! Make sure you can drive over about 1 ft of water to get the campsite. I’d like to come back here someday with a group of friends. I will say the campsites are closer together than I would like but if you rented out spot 1, 2 and 3 at the same time you’d be totally alone with your friends. This might be worth it if you’re a family and you don’t want to be camping next to a rowdy group.

Weekend Trip to Red Fern

The privacy. To be in an area that is so remote and peaceful was wonderful. There were very few people at the public swimming hole and only 2 other campsites occupied. Our 'neighbor' campsite played guitar and sang for us. We hiked some trails and it was like we were in a world of our own. Great experience.

Easy to get to, great amenities, friendly hosts. Had no problems with anything. Wonderful showers!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Camp near Buffalo River

For context, I have been camping 5-7 times a year for over 10 years. Pierce has been the best host I have ever had. The campsite is clean, there is hot water for showers and an out house (shite 1) that is clean. When we were bored but didn’t want to go to town, it was easy: hike the waterfall trail and see sights similar to devils den. Pierce has something great here. I fully expect this is going to be a top competitor to some of the other big name camp sites in this area.

3 nights at Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

We stayed 3 nights at Camp Toasty #3 and had a fantastic time! The campground is full of family-friendly fun—ninja hurdles, a playground, zipline, beaches, pet pigs, and great fishing spots. Our kids (3 and 7) had a blast exploring and playing all day. We hiked to both Little B and Big B waterfalls—both were stunning! Just a heads-up: Big B is a steep, rocky climb and not ideal for small kids. Little B was much more accessible and still beautiful. Though canoeing wasn’t possible due to high water levels, the thoughtful owner set out boats, paddles, and PFDs on a nearby slough so the kids could try kayaking. It was such a kind gesture. The hosts were incredibly welcoming—provided directions, clean water, a fan for the heat, and even treats for our dog! They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restrooms were clean, and there was so much to explore—we never ran out of things to do. Highly recommend Camp Toasty #3 for a fun, peaceful, and adventure-filled family getaway. We’d love to come back!

There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind anyone consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. We are looking forward to seeing you. There are several locations around Williams Rock to camp, open cave areas, with a 5 acre lake to tool around on if you have brought a kayak or small boat. The gates will be open to Williams Rock Area by noon of your arrival. It's primitive camping, so find your own "spot" on the property, respect the privacy of others at their "spots". First come first serve on each spot. The camp spots are not graveled, leveled, etc.. just the bare earth. The majority of this property is the woods, open fields, rough terrain, etc. So you will experience all Nature has to offer. Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. If you'd like to stay another night, you must reserve another night online.
