Weather hijacked us
Got stormed out before getting there and had to find a hotel. Brian was easy to work with. Maybe another time!

Host seemed very nice. My son was camping alone in his truck for school as he isn't old enough to stay in a hotel. He has a camper shell and entire camping set up in the bed of his truck. I booked a tent site and only needed power and water to fill bottles and such. My son followed all directions that were sent to him from the app through text for check in. Somewhere there was a break down in communication. The site had a indoor/outdoor extension cord wrapped around a stick for power. Trash was in the general area and things looked unkept. My son relocated to a nicer campground. I was told after the fact he was supposed to go to an RV site. This is not what we paid for or what was said in any directions that were sent through text to my son. I did have an email notification that I had a message in the app, but was never able to find said message. Again, I am not sure where the breakdown in communication was. I was told by host refunds happened through app that he didn't even have the money from them yet. App customer service said refunds happen from host. I was then told by host that refunds were against the rules. My son was offered another site after the fact, but he had already moved and just needed to go to bed. My advice is to rent one night and make sure all is well before paying more than that,x or maybe pay host directly and communicate by phone instead of text. I have pictures and screen shots if they can be of help to anyone.

Rv Site #1
Brian was awesome, super nice guy! We camped right on the waterfront. Brian even gave our kids souvenir hats.
