As one of the most beautiful campgrounds in Alabama, Cherokee Rock Village features more than 100 primitive tent sites along with 15 primitive RV-accessible sites that can accommodate units up to 40 feet in length. Fire pits and nearby picnic tables are included at each site. While many campsites may be reserved in advance, a designated tent-only section remains available on a first-come, first-served basis at $19 per night. CRV also features a pavilion for group activities, an observation deck, and a children's playground. Canine companions are welcome as long as they remain on leash. For guest comfort, a heated bathhouse is centrally located near the pavilion, providing convenient access from campsites throughout the park. Take your stay from daytime excursion to overnight adventure when you stay with us! Your reservation gives you access to the park's rock climbing, hiking trails, and outdoor activities. Cherokee Rock Village is a scenic outdoor recreation area in Northeast Alabama. Located atop Lookout Mountain in Cherokee County, the park overlooks the expansive waters of Weiss Lake and the surrounding Appalachian foothills. CRV is best known for its beautiful primitive camping sites and for its striking sandstone rock formations, which offer easy access to rock climbing, hiking, photography, and exploration. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking, scenic overlooks, and quiet forested areas that make Cherokee Rock Village a destination for both adventure and relaxation.
