Our famous Ila Cafe is only 5 minutes away! 20 minutes to Athens Restaurant, UGA Campus and Georgia Football! And only 20 minutes to Commerce Outlet Malls and Walmart, 15 minutes to the Boutier Winery, 30 minutes to Watson Mill State Park, located directly on an 80 acre reservoir lake! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming, taking long walks, hiking, or just relaxing! Beautiful Lake View Campsite! Full Hook-ups! No motorboats. 50 Amp & 30 Amp Service. You'll have access to a Fire Pit and Pavillon; a Gas/Charcoal Grill, along with a dock on an 80 Acre Fishing Lake, and 2 double Kayaks with life vests. Swimming, Hiking, Fishing, Kayaking, Roasting Marshmallows, Picnicking or just Relaxing. Pets are welcome, on leashes, portable water, picnic tables, wifi, and trash bins are available on property. Camp fires are permitted (outside of burn bans), and firewood is available for sale on site. Guests love staying with us: "My wife, 2 dogs, and I had an amazing weekend stay at Debbie's campsite. The RV site was level and all the hookups were conveniently located and worked great. Her lakefront property is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed walking our dogs around the property and also taking some camping chairs down to the dock to take in the sunset. The firepit can hold a massive fire and I would definitely recommend buying some firewood from Debbie as it is perfectly seasoned and burns great. We really appreciated having the gas grill/charcoal combo grill on site to cook dinners on and there is plenty of space to play some yard games (cornhole, frisbee etc). We will absolutely come back!"

Beautiful Lake View Campsite! Full Hook-ups! Overlooks a Beautiful 80 Acre Lake. No motorboats. 50 Amp and 30 Amp Service. You'll have access to a Fire Pit and Pavillon; a Gas Grill, along with a dock on an 80 Acre Fishing Lake, and 2 double Kayaks. Swimming, Hiking, Fishing, Kayaking, Roasting Marshmallows, Picnicking or just Relaxing. 5 guests per site included in the $50.00 per night. $5.00 extra per night for each additional person over 5. There is a 8 person limit per site. If you want to put up a pop up tent beside your camper, there will be an additional $15.00 per night fee. Tents can only be used when in addition to a camper rental. Tent Campers would have to use your camper bathroom because we have no outside bathhouse. No early checkout refunds for any reason. No reservations if you don’t have a bathroom in your RV. Large Bundle of Firewood available for $8.00 per bundle.

Beautiful Hidden Gem

Such a beautiful site and hidden gem. Very peaceful surrounded by trees and lake views. The host went out of her way to help us jumpstart our car even when we had battery issues. Would come back and nearby to Athens.

Beautiful, peaceful w/ great hosts

This is such a peaceful, beautiful spot. We return here twice a year. Debbie is a gracious host. We don’t see much of her or her husband, but they are quick to respond if we need anything. Spot is level, water, electricity and dump are easily accessible. We highly, highly, highly recommend their place - it is worth the drive down the dirt road!

The perfect quiet retreat!

Lakeview is a beautiful fully equipped camper site with the fire ring and pavilion. Both Debbie and Steve are wonderful hosts and their property and garden are pristinely manicured. The lake access is just a short walk away and perfect for fishing and our dogs to take a swim. We didn’t have any trouble with the directions to the location, the roadway leading to the camp is wide, however the hills required to speed up to pull the camper uphill. Once on the property the long back in access to the campsite required assistance from the host, since we are newbies with our camper. Just a thought… having corn hole available would have given us more outdoor activity options. We LOVED our get away!

Peaceful Retreat

The hosts were amazing. What a beautifully maintained spot! We definitely enjoyed our time relaxing by the lake and venturing into Athens and surrounding towns. If you want a peaceful escape this is the place for you.

Lovely Lakeside campsite

They have a very beautiful property and have setup a full hookup with a level platform, big firepit, and lovely pavilion with a chargrill gas/propane grill. Also have a dumpster on the property to throw away trash instead of carrying it all out with you. A little tight getting turned around and backed in, but no more than a couple back and forth moves and we were in good shape. Caught a crappie from the dock on the lake, and just enjoyed sitting out on the water. Weather wasn’t great for us the first couple days, but Steve had everything cleaned off looking great the morning after the storm passed. Very friendly hosts, and would definitely go back.

Hidden Gem!

What a lovely, quaint surprise! My husband and I were looking for a last-minute getaway, and we fortunately stumbled upon this gem! We were amazed at the quiet and serene spot we had acquired from the moment we arrived. The full hook-up was easy to access, and the views were fantastic! Nestled among the wooded trees, our spot was under a canopy of trees, and the view of the lake was so tranquil. This spot was immaculate, and the hosts added a huge fire pit with wood and a double-bench swing for relaxation. Steve and Debbie introduced themselves, and they couldn't have been more kind and accommodating! The path from the site down to the dock was an easy trek, and it was quite enjoyable to sit at the additional bench swing there while watching the wildlife and taking in the beautiful views! Due to our schedule, we were not able to enjoy the two double kayaks and paddle boat that the hosts also provided; we most definitely will take advantage of them on our next visit. Overall, this spot ranks a 10/10 in our books! Thank you again!

Serene Sanctuary!

Staying at the Lakeview Site was an absolute delight! The moment my husband and I arrived, we were greeted by the warm hospitality of our host, Debbie, who made sure we were settled in comfortably. The peaceful environment surrounding the private lake was truly a breath of fresh air, allowing us to unwind and connect with nature. It felt like our own little sanctuary, where we could leave our worries behind and immerse ourselves in the tranquil beauty of the landscape. What truly made our stay special was the thoughtful balance of attention and privacy that our hosts provided. Steve and Debbie were always nearby if we needed anything, yet they also gave us the freedom to explore and enjoy our surroundings at our own pace. Whether it was taking a leisurely stroll by the water or simply lounging and soaking in the serene views, every moment spent here was magical. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for such a wonderful experience, and we can't wait to return!

Great place!

What a great place to stay!!! Clean and quiet. The camp hosts were very nice, and hospitable. The view of the lake was amazing, and easily accessible. We look forward to staying there again.

Great host, great view & amenities!

Debbie and Steve were gracious hosts. They had a most gorgeous property and many amenities included for our family. They had access to firewood, kayaks, fishing and showed tremendous hospitality! We would love to visit again!

One of the best.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Steve and Debbie are friendly and helpful hosts. The site is a back-in gravel site with easy hook-up. There is a pavilion with tables, chairs, grill and a large fire pit to use. The dock is a short walk to the lake down an incline with steps and a picnic table to use. Take a short drive to Ila for good southern style food.

Beautiful fall getaway!

Such a lovely full hookup site. We took a nice paddle on the kayak. The big fire pit was wonderful for the cool evening. We hope to come back for a week in the summer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lakeside with us!

We absolutely loved this site. It was immaculate and our hosts made us feel like family. They were not overly invasive in any way but made us feel welcome. This site is perfectly placed for privacy. The lake is well stocked and makes for great fishing. We HIGHLY recommend this site if you are looking for a beautiful relaxing getaway! Just one note, if you need WIFI, bring a Hotspot capable device for this site.

Peaceful, lovely spot

Incredibly peaceful, lovely spot. The hosts were so very nice. Level site. Flawless hookups. Beautiful view. Yes, the road to the property is a bit rough, but absolutely worth it. I would love to keep this place a secret so that it is available when we visit family in the area.
