Immerse yourself in nature with over 20 wooded acres and 2000 feet of water frontage and trails on Big Coldwater Creek. Quiet, tranquil and peaceful are how most guests describe their stay at The Wandering Path. Being in nature has a significant impact on mental and physical health. You will leave here feeling refreshed and recharged. Kayak, canoe, hike, fish or just relax the day away. #4 is the smallest site, best for 1-2 people and a smaller tent. It is a waterfront, primitive site (no electricity) that is close to parking and bathhouse, and has direct access to the water. If the water level is low enough, it has its own sandbar directly below...a perfect place to set your chairs up and enjoy the sights and sounds of the water and that will hold a larger tent. There are solar string lights, trash can, and fire pit ring. There is also a large charcoal grill between #4 and #5. One (1) Friendly, well-behaved dog allowed as long as it does not bark at other guests and gets along with my dog that will visit. Prior approval required. Please bring your own towels, soaps, etc. for bath house. There is now an outdoor kitchen for all guests to use. There is no cookware, silverware or dishes. There is a countertop oven, toaster, 2 stove top burners, 1 flat top griddle, sink and keurig coffee maker. There are reusable k-cups for you to put your own coffee in, or your own k-cups. Five Stars!!!
Amanda was a wonderful host, very attentive and sweet. The property is gorgeous and the creek is the perfect remedy for a hot Florida day. The property pup Bella was sweet as can be and she welcomed our pup openly. This is the perfect place to unplug and recharge. We will definitely be back.

Uniquely wonderful camp experience
I decided to treat my parents while they were in town to a night in the woods. This is now going to be the new tradition when they come. My dad absolutely loved it and actually wants to go back. Amanda has truly cultivated a uniquely wonderful camp experience. Plan on eventually trying to get the whole family out there for a camp weekend.

The area was ready for us to start enjoying ourselves. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The only thing that was a little unsettling was the gun fire that seemed rather close. But everything else was perfect. The bathhouse was very clean, the property was very well kept to nature and we will come back again.
