This nine acre ranch is a pristine piece of Wyoming prairie. Sitting on top of a grassy hillside you have expansive views of the valley below. Clear sky days offer views of the mountains. Away from city lights you can experience the natural beauty of sunrises, sunsets and clear starlit nights. This quiet land is frequented by roaming prairie wildlife including antelope, jackrabbits and coyotes. Keep an eye out for the infamous Wyoming Jackelope. You are sure to enjoy this quiet prairie retreat. Please follow all fire advisement, high wind and dry climate are risks in this area. There is a 16-18 inch decline from roadway into the property. Advise to arrive before dark in order to locate entrance.This prairie site is a 9 acre open field with dry camping. It is pull through with undesignated open sites. The entry is to the left of the sign and there is a 16-18 inch decline from the roadway that we have not yet gotten filled in. If your vehicle is low, you may drag. We hope you enjoy the quiet evening and hilltop views. You can cook at camp or check out the Little Bear Steakhouse, a rustic historic Cheyenne gem, located just down the road. After dinner take in the sunset and enjoy the starlit night sky. Activities nearby include Curt Gowdy State Park, the famous Cheyenne Frontier Days, the Wyoming State Museum and Capitol building and an array of shopping and eateries the state capital has to offer.
