We were disappointed. We were camping in the middle of the host’s house and chores. Our vacation was watching and listening to someone work around us. We felt in the way and an inconvenience. We were never greeted. It was all very bizarre.

This was a very quiet location surrounded by homes on acreage but essentially in the front yard of the home. There was no one around as far as we could tell.

Was grateful for the clear instructions on arriving at Tads land. The views were phenomenal, 350 degrees of mountains and ranch land. Was close to town but not in town. Tad put out comfortable chairs and a clean picnic table for us. Would recommend to friends.

Easy access just outside of Cody, Wyoming. Flat spot with good water and electric just outside Tad and Janie’s home. Nice lane with no traffic for a dog walk. Cows in the field were very interested in our dog. Quiet with a beautiful view.

Today we left another awesome hipcamp. It is situated 5 minutes from Cody WY just down the road from the Cheif Joseph Scenic Highway and Yellowstone. Tad was very kind and answered all our questions. The site was everything that was advertised.

Was an absolutely beautiful place to stay! Was so quiet, peaceful, and the views were amazing! You’re so close to downtown Cody, to mountain biking trails, and we even made the drive to Yellowstone. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

We loved this Campspot. Beautiful views, plenty of room, and oh, the sunsets!!! The camp was only a few minutes from town but felt like you were in the country surrounded by farmlands and grazing cows. The host was very responsive and helpful with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved having our first RV experience on Tad’s land. Our spot had this lovely pastoral landscape with cows grazing nearby. We stayed 3 nights and wish we had stayed longer. We will be back!

We were only stopping for the evening as we left early next morning. Unfortunately for exploring a bit, it was raining when we got there and pretty much all night. Honestly, we were so tired from our great Cody/Yellowstone experiences that we pretty much slept. But very lovely setting! Easy to get to from town. Thank you for sharing your place!

“Tad’s” land became home to us. We were there for 11 nights and fell in love with Cody. There was so much to see and do. Tad was there with great suggestions on restaurants and must sees, and also became a dear friend.. The sunsets on the property were exceptional with the mountains being our background the entire stay. A double rainbow covered the property the night before we left, leaving us feeling like we had found a second home.

We spent 2 nights at Loopy Lasso. The hosts were awesome and the site was well kept and had water/electric hookups. The sunsets were amazing. We would highly recommend spending time at the LL if you are near Cody, WY.

Great spot and close to town but very quiet. Tad was great to work with and hooked us up on some nice eating and drinking spots around Cody. Always a bonus to have hookups and no one camping next to you.

What an awesome spot! We had a really peaceful stay at this campsite. Despite the rain and cold, the location was very beautiful and Tad was very welcoming and helpful when we had some issues with the electrical hookup, which was all sorted very quickly.

This was a great place to set up camp to explore the area. Tad and family were wonderful hosts and we’re so glad they’re willing to share a piece of their beautiful property.
Water and electric is there next to a nice lawn and beautiful views. When it’s time to leave, Cody has a free dump station less than 10 minutes away.
If we’re back in this area again, we’d definitely stay here again.

It was a very peaceful spot with beautiful views. Spot was flat and hookups were easy to access. We enjoyed having a campfire there - we brought our solo stove. One night we heard a pack of coyotes howling for a good two minutes, super cool! Would definitely go back.

Perfect place to explore Cody! We came here from the Badlands, did Chief Joseph Hwy to Beartooth Highway ended in Red Lodge then took main highway back to camp. Did the rodeo later that night. Beautiful views at site. Highly recommended

The site was perfect for our 5 day stay. We have a 43’ 5th wheel and the location made it very easy to get to. The site itself was level and has a couple of nice chairs and a picnic table already there. Hookups were just where they needed to be and everything worked great. The view was amazing and we saw deer and other wildlife in the fields on the small road in every night. The hosts were great and they have a beautiful property, creatively landscaped and very well taken care of. Just one single site next to an adorable silo setup. Cody WY is only 9 minutes away and there is anything and everything one can think of to do there. We saw the nightly Rodeo and if you’re in town it’s a must!!! Everything was amazing not one complaint other than we had to leave to get to our next destination.
