We have ten acres that our home sit on but about 9 acres that consist of dry farm grass. We use 1 acre for camping and parking. The Weber river runs across the back of our property where we have a campground with tables and firepits. This is a family campground. We do not have Electrical Power or Water hookups. We have added 4 wooden porta potty enclosed in small tents which we service every day or as needed. Site selection is determined by type of sleeping accommodations and managements discretion.
We have now have one tent areas and 1 RV spot.
**We allow 2 adults per site and/or 2 adults and minor children per site.
(Larger Family Gathering must be approved and pay extra based on the number of family or friends expected)
WE HAVE A LIMITED FIRE BAN.
ALL FIREWORKS ARE CURRENTLY STRICTLY PROHIBITED
We are not a public campground and only list through Hipcamp and so our property is posted with NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. It is very important to let us know your approximate arrival time and call when you arrive. We will guide you down to the campgrounds and show you the best spots base on your type of camping. (Sleeping in trailers or van's versus tent campers)
One draw back to our property is that we are within 1/2 mile of a well use highway (US 84) and railroad track. We have only had one camper who was concerned about the noise. Here at the house we don't notice it and maybe we are just use to it.
Limited swimming and use of paddle board based on river conditions.
Fishing is limited because we are on private property and the river is not stocked by the Utah fish and game. So, we are dependent on normal reproduction of the fish. Fly fishing being the best however you can use lures. Power bait or any bait that requires treble hooks are not allowed.. We would prefer catch and release.

My 35-acre property sits at approximately 7,500 feet elevation with sweeping 360-degree views for miles, including the snow-capped Uinta Mountains in the distance. There are no close neighbors—unless you count the occasional cattle or sheep wandering through, since this is open-range country.
By day, you’ll find wide-open sage seas, junipers, red cliffs, distant mountains, and plenty of that untamed Wyoming landscape. You may hear coyotes howling after sunset, and every now and then the faint whistle or rumble of a distant train carries across the open country—a wonderfully Western soundtrack to the landscape.
And when night falls, the real show begins.
With virtually no nearby light pollution, the dark night skies here can be spectacular. On clear nights, the Milky Way stretches across the sky, surrounded by more stars than you’ll ever see from town. Bring a chair, a blanket, or just lie back and enjoy one of the best features of being this far from civilization.
This is the Wild West at its best—quiet, rugged, spacious, and wonderfully uncrowded. Pull in your RV, pitch a tent, and enjoy having a little piece of Wyoming all to yourself. If you enjoy rock hounding and fossil hunting too, look underfoot and head toward the cliff edges for shell fossils.
There’s also plenty to explore nearby. The historic Piedmont ghost town and charcoal kilns are 10 minutes away. The majestic Uinta Mountains are roughly 45 minutes southeast via the beautiful Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (WY-150).
In Evanston, visit Bear River State Park to see the local bison herd—including its famous white bison—then explore the Historic Depot Area and the Union Pacific Roundhouse and Railyards. Downtown Main Street feels like a step back in time and is also home to the local brewery, Suds.
A little farther east along I-80 is historic Fort Bridger, another great stop for anyone interested in the history of the Old West.
Fishing is available at nearby Sulphur Creek reservoir and along the Bear River.
Come for the wide-open spaces, stay for the sunsets—and wait until you see the Milky Way.

The Provo River runs along the edge of the property, and the Uinta Mountains start climbing from here. Lovely site. It's a pity the disco ball has been damaged, but that was the only issue. The location is remote and creates the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. We absolutely loved our time here. Site was well maintained, though there was some horse droppings in the camp area I had to shovel out.
Overall, one of the best sites I've been to in a while. Thanks so much!

Al and Jeri were amazing and so hospitable. We were lucky to be the only ones on site this weekend and it was a great space to escape the SLC valley heat and get time by the river. My dogs had a blast! There is easy assess to the water and tons of shade! The grounds were well taken care of and well stocked with chairs and bug mesh tents. If you are sensitive to noise, bring earplugs as it’s near the train tracks.

Al & Jeri are the cutest couple and so very nice and welcoming. They greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our site. The had some communal chairs, trash cans and porta potties, though we are mostly self sufficient. The spot was pretty, lush, and right next to the river. It was so pleasant that we spent some extra time just hanging out. As the other reviews mention, it is right next to the freeway and train tracks (trains can be a little loud) so if you’re a light sleeper this might not be for you, but for a quick stop over it was perfect for us, and we both like some white noise when sleeping. Would stay again :)
