Go camping near the gateway to the Willamette National Forest.
Just off Interstate 5 in Oregon's Willamette Valley region, Brownsville makes a great rural base near Eugene and Corvallis. Nearby attractions include the William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge and Cascadia State Park, plus Willamette National Forest. While there are plenty of campgrounds in the nearby national forest, some of which are RV-friendly, they often fill up fast or are on a first-come, first-served basis. For a private location or a guaranteed reservation, consider a private Brownsville campsite instead. Choose from RV and tent site Hipcamps on local farms where everything from produce to flowers are grown, or go for a cabin, glampsite, or even a treehouse for extra rainy-day comfort.
