We have 65 acres in the Cabinet Mountains. Lots of shade and walking/biking at site. Miles of forest service roads 1/2 mile away. Clark fork river beach and access 5 miles. Quality fly fishing on the Thompson rivers 12 miles. Lots of wildlife to see elk deer , turkey, and bear......birds of many sorts. Tons of scenic photography possibilities. Bring utv/atv and explore hundreds of miles of forest service roads nearby.Camp on our private horse ranch, completely secluded on a large shaded site. A large 16 foot x 16 foot sand pad for a tent. A level gravel area for small camper/RV. Propane fire pit, picnic table, toilet, hammock, and yard games available. Endless wildlife elk, deer, turkey, and numerous birds. Great for hiking, photography, go kayaking on the Clark Fork river, miles of forest service, biking, swimming, or just get away! Horse experiences are a possibility. Endless miles of private hiking!

Aggressive Host, Non-Stop Noise

My experience: 1.Host misrepresented site when asked if it was quiet (before reserving). Site is on hill surrounded by guardian dogs barking frequently; near train crossing; loud train horn heard every 15 minutes. 2.Communication with host was uncomfortable; he was sarcastic and aggressive when asked if train horn sounded over night; told me to leave an hour after I arrived, promising refund for both nights. 3. Was only partially refunded. 4. Host sent harrassing messages after vacated property. 5. HipCamp was alerted to situation; their response was very slow.

Austin accepted my last minute booking and made us feel super welcome! The site is private, clean, and spacious - just what we needed after a few days in a campground. We also appreciated the hammock, grill and propane fire pit! Would definitely stay here again :)
