My family and I enjoyed this campground alot! The sites were very well maintained and the host were very polite and helpful. The surrounding area offered a lot of hiking and it was a short drive to Wallace. I highly recommend this site to all visitors!!

Wonderful place to spend time in the mountains of northern idaho- Lisa J is a great hostess- going out of her way to accommodate our 2 night stay. Our 4 grandkids enjoyed playing in the large grass-covered area. During our early August stay there was construction haul trucks running in the weekday daytime but none in the late afternoon and evening, leaving just the peacefull
sound of the small creek.

Lisa’s place is great! It is a hidden gem. Lisa was a great host and made sure we had all we needed. The communication with her prior to our arrival easy and she got back to us quickly. We would come back!

Site was cute. Neighbor had some off-leash out of control (but friendly) dogs running around. Hosts weren’t there to help with check in and there’s no cell service out there so it was tough. Finally figured out where to stand to get a WiFi signal and went from there. Never could find the bathrooms.

Honestly I was very surprised when we got there and it was just like their backyard. Also the creek was a ditch. We did not end up staying the night.

We camped in our 27 foot airstream with 2 friends in sprinter vans. The site was convenient from I-90 and close to the town of Wallace which we enjoyed visiting. Lisa welcomed us warmly.

The location is rather intriguing. The campground is a mining ghost town. All the sites are a long the only road in and out of the narrow canyon. It's super quiet. Lisa is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Lisa’s property was well maintained and had a number of nice amenities like Cornhole, Horseshoes, firepit with plenty of wood available and water/electricity.
We stayed at the lower unit which had a nice grassy area that would be great for families.
Lisa and her husband were very friendly and accommodating.
The only negatives were during the week there is a major reclamation project from the old mine just up the road so there were many trucks starting at 7AM - 5PM that drove by all day.
I also thought that the creek was going to be viewable, but it is across the road and set lower so you can only hear it from the campsite.
Overall, it was a pleasant location in a valley and

50/50 honestly wasn't my favorite. When we arrived we had difficulty reaching the host to find our site. She ended up putting us (with our tent) on the gravel. It wasn't until much later after we left that a message came through on the app to set up anywhere in the grass. The grassy area looked much better. This was however a very last minute campsite for us so more then anything we appreciated the chance to sleep for the night before hitting the road again

The host was super helpful and friendly, and it was nice to have air conditioning and water. The roads going up to the campsite are very rough and it is not exactly a scenic route that you take to get there. Seeing vandalized vehicles/rv’s, stripped down trucks and houses that were basically rubble had us a little concerned for our safety and that of our equipment when we went to the music festival. It was very nice to have a short drive to Wallace to sightsee. It is not private, but it is has some charming attribute.

This is a fantastic spot for anyone planning to ride the Hiawatha bike trail or explore the charming town of Wallace, ID. Just a few minutes off I-90, it’s super convenient while still feeling tucked away in nature.
Lisa is a wonderfully welcoming host, and the site was perfect for our needs — water and electric hookups, plenty of space to spread out, and a peaceful creek just across the road. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again!

Great tent set up area!!! Very comfortable and easy. Creek is right across from camp when you feel the need for a dunk to cool off. Lisa is a great host and I will stay again.

We had a great time at Lisa’s spot. For us it was a quick overnight trip, but she was very responsive to small questions we had. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The kids loved the little touches she had around the property as well: (cornhole, little station for bug catchers, painting rocks, etc.) we plan to come back on another trip and stay for a few days so we can explore the historic town of nearby Wallace too.
