The wooded Boardwalk Trail opens to secluded grassy site ideal for tent or hammock camping. A stone fire pit is included.

We have a small herd of dairy cows, 50 dairy/meat goats, a horse named Willow, a couple pigs In the summer, lots of cats. We specialize in goats for meat. Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats.
We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough. Swimming not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available. We welcome horses, bring your own fence. PLEASE NOTE with heavy rain all wheel drive (AWD) is needed to park next to your site. If you don't have AWD, there's parking by the rec room. We can transport you to your site if there are issues.
Firewood is available for purchase in addition to a 24 x 32 rec room/storm shelter. Kayaks and SUPs available to rent too!

There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special.
"The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite.
The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands.
We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in!
There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there!

Welcome to our campground! We offer a variety of camping options: tent camping for a rustic experience, camper sites with electric/water hook-ups, or the option to rent our 5th wheel guest camper. Enjoy direct access to ATV/UTV trails and discover good fishing lakes nearby such as Petenwell, Camelot, Sherwood, Arrowhead, and more. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to The Sands, a future PGA course.
Explore various activities like boating (refer to the fishing list for lakes), horseback riding, and more in the surrounding area. On-site amenities include a fire pit, pavilion, and grilling station for your convenience.
Please note that the owner is on the property, and this is not a party location. Come and enjoy a peaceful camping experience with us!
For the Hunters out there, Property is open during gun hunting season with limited amenities (no Water - Toilet or 5th wheel rental) - but you do have direct access to approx 150 acres of Timber Land co property.

Nicely wooded lot with privacy and enough of a clearing to park any size rv, travel trailer or just put up a tent. Room for multiple campers, tents and trailers. The property is located on legal atv/utv routes to get you to all the places you want to go including to castle rock lake. The snowmobile trails are also just down the road. The property is near public hunting grounds. The property is close to the yellow river, caste rock lake and lake petenwell for all of your fishing and recreational boating needs. There is a park model on the property but it will not be in use surunf your stay and you will have the property to your self. Lakeside Cozy Camp was exactly as describe, flat, easy to access, and you get the whole acre to yourself.
We tent camped in the back of my pickup, but the ground would have been comfortable too since it’s mostly sand. We had a small fire, walked around the property, and loved being right across from the lake, even walking out on the ice to chat with ice fishermen. Very quiet, private, and pet-friendly, with park bathrooms conveniently across the street, perfect for a simple camping spot in nature.

We were really happy to get to sleep test a Road Toad, and Cary’s tour of the Camp Inns and the factory was awesome. Campsite and fire rings great, even pre-raked the area for us so there weren’t leaves near fire. Loved having a hot shower available before returning to spaces full of other humans.
On our walk at the Wildlife Refuge, we saw trumpeter swans and sandhill cranes 🙂
There is some highway noise and there are some lights , for those who are sensitive to either, but we still had lots of stars on our first night!

I stayed at the RV site. Good size for about an 18 foot RV, more length may be pushing the space to its limit. There is water and power at this site. There is a remarkable (Best On HipCamp it seems) outhouse approx 100 yards from the site as well. Nice walking trail, and plenty of star gazing, moon gazing.
Owner has wood for sale on site.
Owner is also a super nice guy, and can accommodate pretty much anything you need.
There is another site more in the woods, primarily for tent (RTT) camping that the owner may advertise for rental later this year (2025). This site is more remote/private, very well maintained, large (approx 50 meters X 30 meters), and should easily fit 3 or 4 tents if your traveling in a group.
There is a remote possibility the owner may open a very primitive, solo tent camping location......... stay tuned.
All sites are accessible by auto/truck, but you could also park in the lot and just hike into the tent camping locations, or drop off your gear and park in the lot to save space at your site.
Overall a great three days / two nights staring at the fire and moon with my dog.

Friendly owners and great spots! Stayed at camp Twenty and it was amazing. Very private and very picturesque! The sites are a good distance away from each other and this site was a ten minute drive from the main farm. Very nice!

Above and beyond! That's how Brenda and her family role. They are the most genuinely kind and caring people. They truly treat you like family.
I took my 2 kiddos (ages 8 and 9) and our dog, for a fall camping adventure. The property is absolutely beautiful. Their are 3 campsites right on the river. We happened to be the only people there, so we had it to ourselves! But, would be a perfect spot if you have a larger group to book all 3 sites together.
Brenda and her family truly made us feel like family. We had a couple bumps in the road- it was my first time taking my kids camping by myself, but they made me feel like I had a safety net, in case anything happened. I felt completely safe and it put my mind at ease.
My daughter said if she could rate her stay, she'd give it "450 trillion out of 5 stars". My son said, the experience was, "one for the books"- meaning he had so much fun, he can't stop talking about it. :)
Aside from the top notch host, they offer things to do, like kayaking and fishing. They will even drive you to a place to start and you'll finish at your campsite. They have 2 docks right on the river, which offer gorgeous views of sunset and sunrise. Also, just to bask in the peacefulness surrounding you.
I could go on and on about how amazing our experience was... but you should check it out for yourself!
We can't wait to go again!! We're already planning our next adventure there!

Pretty spot along the river. Access to kayaking and tubing during warm weather. Michael was a friendly host. Good privacy between sites. One heads up, Google maps will tell you that you’ve arrived, but you’ll need to go just a little further before you see the red building.

Fishing off the dock, kayaking the river, getting to meet some of Brenda and Josh's "pets" (a stud horse and the sweetest little goat!) whilst stoking a fire was the perfect weekend escape. Yes, the train horns do occur, but we thought they were funny!
Seeing a flock of 50 Sandhill Cranes all take off at once was a speechless moment along with watching changing leaves gently fall onto the river 🍂🛶.
Plenty of firewood and kindling on site as well as all the water and eggs you could chug!
Brenda was thoughtfully communicating throughout brooking process and a gracious host during our stay. We can't wait to come back with some friends!

Amazing, private place place to camp. Adam and Jackie are super friendly and made sure to check in on us once in awhile (not too much, just enough). They are super dog friendly and my dogs loved running around off leash. The property is beautiful as well as the surrounding lakes and towns.

Parked our camper van in the beautiful, pond-side Site 6 and loved the seclusion, peace, and spaciousness. The walking trail that is cut through the forest is gorgeous, and the shared clubhouse is an awesome place to hang out, eat, play games, and relax! The garage door bug screen is such a great idea and allows fresh air in while you enjoy the space. Owners are warm and personable, and clearly care about the spaces provided and their guests. This was our second time there, and we will certainly be back!

This was my first experience booking a Hipcamp site and it won't be my last. With Clearwater Camp's campsites located in varied topography, it would make it a different experience each time. Campsites were easy to find and were far enough from each other to feel like you were really out in the wild. But the rec center near the front of camp provided a nice spot to visit with other campers, create some art, and have a bite to eat. The camp hosts were extremely friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. Combined with wonderful weather, we had a wonderful camping experience at Clearwater Camp!
