We have valleys with three ridges, total elevation is about 300 feet from low point to high point. We have two springs on the property that are the source for a small unnamed creek that feeds into Trout Creek and then the Kickapoo River.
The property has walking paths in the grassy pasture areas in the valley (partially mowed), unmowed trails up and down the hillsides and on the ridges, and a high bluff overlook.
We are between the towns of Soldiers Grove and Readstown, 2 miles from the Kickapoo River and US Highway 61 on paved roads. There are public restrooms with showers a 5 minute drive from site in Soldiers Grove, where there is also an RV dump station.

Beautiful, secluded campsite with a babbling brook running through!! The region is gorgeous in the fall. The outhouse was clean and well kept. Tai + Stella’s visitor guide and map were very informative and easy to follow. Logan brought us firewood and allowed us to enjoy the area in peace. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an escape out in nature.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this Hipcamp. It felt like I had been transported to the mountains, not Wisconsin! The views in the driftless region were stunning. I reached out to host Andy in advance, and he graciously let me stay in the fenced dog park area, which featured a crystal-clear spring-fed pond. The trails on the property were amazing, perfect for exploring with my dogs, and the location itself is out of this world. It's right in the heart of Amish country, with Amish horse and buggies riding right past the campsite. Andy was fantastic, welcoming, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. If he was working near the campsite he kept me informed, but otherwise gave me my privacy and it really felt like I had the place to myself. Andy even loaned me a corkscrew after I forgot mine. Although the listing says no cooking equipment, the site was set up with a campfire grill grate which was so helpful for cooking over the open fire. I purchased the wood add on and Andy provided more than enough wood right beside the fire for two days. He also suggested a nearby Amish home-based bakery, which had some of the most delicious baked goods I’ve ever tasted. Every detail of this stay was thoughtful, peaceful, and memorable. I only wish I could have stayed longer! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene, stunning, and unique camping experience.

Andy and Marla are wonderful hosts. Their property is clean, well organized, and beautiful! The location is close to all of the spots that people would find interested while touring in the area. Make sure to stop by Readstown for the licorice ice cream!!! Fantastic stay, will return.

This space is like a dream, definitely not like any campground I've been to before. The winding country roads passing by buggies and neighbors waving were signs we were going to the right place. Our site was surrounded by a babbling creek that we splashed around in during the day. The dogs especially enjoyed that part! Each site was spread out and private, with the creek joining the grounds together. The compost outhouse was awesome and I never had to wait in line even with all of the spots occupied. It was so peaceful and tranquil but we also felt able to let loose and have joyful moments. Having spring water and firewood available was amazing and we only had to leave the property once to reup on supplies (theres poor service but reliable wifi to upload maps to the nearest stores, noted on the welcome guide). If you have dogs or children there are spots that are more secluded to choose from. We liked Coyote to camp by our cars but our pups are still practicing not barking hello every time a neighbor passed by.
We felt so lucky to have to found this slice of bliss amongst the acres of farmland and rolling forests. Being there exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back.

It was my second time at Flutterby Farm. I really love this property and I’m so thankful Tai and Stella and Logan are so generous to share their slice of heaven with the rest of us. The star gazing is unbeatable and having creek access at each campsite is a huge bonus. My Labradors were loving the water. My friends and I have always felt safe and welcomed and I plan to return again in the future!

Amazing setting for a camping trip! The stream weaves around and through the campsites and allows for a lot of fun water play activities. My kids did a lot of bark boat racing, and splashing around. Kept them busy for hours. At the end of the day they put themselves to bed they were so tired. The prairie and trails are beautiful as well. So many bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Great place for some private rest and relaxation. We'll definitely be back again!

This was our second trip to this spot in a week. The hosts are so gracious. When I let Andy know that we were returning to watch the Perseid meteor shower, he offered to mow an extra area away from the designated site so we'd have more sky to watch. These folks really want you to feel like you are at home.
Another real treat: during a summer that has been very wet, we have encountered zero mosquitoes on this property during either of our visits.
I expect to return frequently, and highly recommend.

Definitely off the beaten path— no cell service in the immediate area. But the site is private, the land is expansive with many spots to explore, and it is absolutely gorgeous. We had an excellent time with a campfire and a great night’s sleep. Tai and Stella send a great guide to the site and the area and we were able to have an awesome meal at the Driftless Cafe nearby. Wish we had more time here!

Exactly what I needed. I'm nursing a back injury, and this spot made a night outside effortless. Clean toilet, firewood right there. Creek babble all night and we had good skies for stars.

We had such a peaceful time at coyote car camp! My favorite spot right by the creek with amazing night sky views. I enjoy walking the cute trails to the bathroom, which was very clean and stocked, and also seeing the sheep. The hosts are great and came down to greet us and make sure we didn’t need anything. I can’t wait to come back! 😊

Creekside Camp is a beautiful, quiet spot to camp with some nice amenities. We enjoyed using their trail map to hike the red mowed trails- about a 40 minute round trip walk. The gurgling creek, bird song from such a variety of birds and fireflies made our campfire magical. Andy and Marla were communicative, kind and respectful of our privacy. The camp toilet was clean and appreciated.

Tai and Stella’s property is truly magical! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect—clear directions, a stunning and secluded site, and a cool, refreshing stream that was exactly what we needed on the hottest day of the weekend.
The outhouse was impressively clean, and the fresh spring water tasted amazing. This spot is a dream for bird watchers, so don’t forget your binoculars! But even if you’re not into birds, make sure to pitch your tent under the open sky—at night, the stars are breathtaking, and the fireflies put on an unforgettable light show. The whole property practically sparkles after dark.
Tai, Stella, Logan, and Tria—the sweetest little baby goat—were all wonderful and welcoming hosts. They’ve created something really special, and I’m so grateful they share it. I can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will 100% come back! We have never explored this part of the state, and this was a wonderful location to use as a “home base” to explore the Driftless area! Not only was it close, safe, and quiet, but the sauna amenity made this an even more intriguing spot for us as van dwellers. We enjoyed our two night stay and traveled up to Viroqua to spend the afternoon and with a simple drive home, this spot was absolutely perfect!
Not only that, they made an exception to allow us to stay with a same-day request which was just icing on the cake! We were so thrilled and loved our experience, the Driftless area is worth the trip. 🙏🏻
