Andy and Marla were the perfect hosts. 100% respectful of campsite privacy, while friendly and knowledgable about the area, and willing to help and support as needed.
The site itself was great - in shade (but with enough light to charge via solar), next to the stream, and with full access to trails on the bluff.

Beautiful area with winding gravel roads crossing over the driftless area. The campsite is right along a small creek between the steep forested hills. The host were friendly, knowledgeable but not at all intrusive.

We had a wonderful visit at Andy and Marla’s place and would love to return.
The campsite itself is very spacious, clean and designed with campers in mind. You will camp on thick grass, not dirt, alongside a crystal clear creek. The view from the camper is the creek, an old pasture and wooded hills. What is there not to love? The clean toilet and the ability to get drinking water was another plus. The trails are extensive and diverse.
The hosts live on the property, but are so far away that even our very complicated dog could handle it. Andy and Marla give your privacy but are available if you need something. Did I mention that they are extremely nice and genuine dog lover? Besides the main camping spot they have a large, fully fenced in area. Think a large Sniffspot with crystal clear pond and you can drive your camper in and stay :) This area also has a fire pit and camping tablet/bench like the main area. What you will be missing there is the closeness of the camping toilet. Gracious as they are, Andy and Marla allowed us access to all areas.
There are two very low traffic streets framing a part of the property, but it did not bother us at all. Often it was not motor sound we heard but the hoof beat of the Amish carriages. Our dog barked at the first two and that was it. This dog barks at pretty much everything. I did not notice any traffic after dark and slept very peaceful and undisturbed. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Andy and Marla's place is spectacular. My dogs and I absolutely love it and Andy is such a kind host. It's so great being able to walk the trails, have a fire and cool off by the pond. I highly recommend this site.

We had an outstanding trip over Memorial weekend. We loved being the only campers on Andy & Marla’s property. It was really easy getting in and out with the camper. Gorgeous rolling hills and bluffs all around. Hiking the property and getting to the top of the bluff was an absolute treat. Andy and Marla are outstanding hosts that genuinely cared that we were having a nice time. They even made sure the pups were enjoying themselves. My kiddo loved splashing around in the creek. A+ trip all around.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this Hipcamp. It felt like I had been transported to the mountains, not Wisconsin! The views in the driftless region were stunning. I reached out to host Andy in advance, and he graciously let me stay in the fenced dog park area, which featured a crystal-clear spring-fed pond. The trails on the property were amazing, perfect for exploring with my dogs, and the location itself is out of this world. It's right in the heart of Amish country, with Amish horse and buggies riding right past the campsite. Andy was fantastic, welcoming, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. If he was working near the campsite he kept me informed, but otherwise gave me my privacy and it really felt like I had the place to myself. Andy even loaned me a corkscrew after I forgot mine. Although the listing says no cooking equipment, the site was set up with a campfire grill grate which was so helpful for cooking over the open fire. I purchased the wood add on and Andy provided more than enough wood right beside the fire for two days. He also suggested a nearby Amish home-based bakery, which had some of the most delicious baked goods I’ve ever tasted. Every detail of this stay was thoughtful, peaceful, and memorable. I only wish I could have stayed longer! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene, stunning, and unique camping experience.

Andy and Marla are wonderful hosts. Their property is clean, well organized, and beautiful! The location is close to all of the spots that people would find interested while touring in the area. Make sure to stop by Readstown for the licorice ice cream!!! Fantastic stay, will return.
This was our second trip to this spot in a week. The hosts are so gracious. When I let Andy know that we were returning to watch the Perseid meteor shower, he offered to mow an extra area away from the designated site so we'd have more sky to watch. These folks really want you to feel like you are at home.
Another real treat: during a summer that has been very wet, we have encountered zero mosquitoes on this property during either of our visits.
I expect to return frequently, and highly recommend.

Exactly what I needed. I'm nursing a back injury, and this spot made a night outside effortless. Clean toilet, firewood right there. Creek babble all night and we had good skies for stars.
So grateful for the hospitality and the efforts they've put in to provide this little retreat.

Creekside Camp is a beautiful, quiet spot to camp with some nice amenities. We enjoyed using their trail map to hike the red mowed trails- about a 40 minute round trip walk. The gurgling creek, bird song from such a variety of birds and fireflies made our campfire magical. Andy and Marla were communicative, kind and respectful of our privacy. The camp toilet was clean and appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and well-kept campsite! Andy & Marla were fantastic hosts—super welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The fenced-in field was perfect for our dogs-Snowball and Luna to run and play safely off-leash, and they had an absolute blast exploring and splashing around the little pond. It truly felt like a mini dog park just for us! The site was quiet, scenic, and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the WiFi access and the option for power, too. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with pups or just looking for a relaxing, private getaway spot. We’d love to come back!

We loved our time here! Absolutely beautiful location, and we loved the walking trails on the property too. The creek was so peaceful and my little one really enjoyed splashing around. The bathroom was an extra added bonus! The host was wonderful and friendly. Everything was smooth and wonderful memories were created! :)

We loved our night on Andy and Marla's land. The campsite was spacious and well maintained. The was a toilet to use and firewood to buy. We also had a nice time walking some of the trails on the property.

The site was in a beautiful setting, was well appointed with picnic tables, a fire pit, an outhouse, and firewood available. Andy was very welcoming and gave us some additional tips of goings on during our stay in the area. We'll be back!
Amazing location with wonderful hosts. The babbling creek right on the campsite made for a pleasant background (and some wet dogs :-) but they loved it). The trails through the meadows can be easy (if you stay on the flats) or a challenge that is totally worth it if you go up the bluffs and check out the hills. Very peaceful. The 'outhouse building/pump house' was super clean and well stocked; much more pleasant than the typical porta-potty. Andy came out to great us on arrival and make sure we were all set. Very kind and you can tell he cares about the property and the campers' experience. Totally will be back. Quick Note: that if you have Verizon you WILL lose reception being deep in the valley, so plan accordingly with downloaded music and maps if you need them. Totally was fine for us, but a tip I'd pass on for others.

We loved Cameron's Camp - Host Andy kept the site clean and tidy! Incredibly helpful directions led us directly to the entrance which had clear signing. Andy offered to greet us upon arrival and we accepted! He provided helpful information, fire kindling, local events going on, and a map of the property! Andy kept his dogs far away so our dog could enjoy some off leash time without any worries! 5 STARS

Andy and Marla immediately gave a kind vibe when they welcomed us and shared details about their land. We had our privacy as we enjoyed an unplugged weekend with a spacious site, stocked with firewood they offered for purchase, and two picnic tables. It was also nice to have the outhouse with RV toilet that is near enough to be convenient but tucked away enough to not spoil the view. We enjoyed exploring the many winding trails through their property with our dog off leash. The surround of beautiful scenery and peaceful sound of the rippling creek were definitely the highlights. We are so grateful to Andy and Marla for sharing their land and making this campsite available!
Made my first Driftless region experience fantastic! From the view, to the land to the hike on property (which I need to come back to do more of), all top-notch. Host was very responsive and accommodating. 👍👍

Beautiful setting and lovely creek that made our dog very happy! Mosquitos but that's to be expected. Andy and Marla were wonderful and very supportive as we had to unexpectedly leave due to a medical emergency. Without asking for it, they refunded our extra night and firewood we were not able to use. We look forward to the next visit! We were able to get 4G on AT&T for most of the time.

We loved camping here! Andy welcomed us on arrival and had fantastic recommendations of places to check out the weekend we were there. The trails are well maintained! The kids enjoyed catching tadpoles in the creek and our dog loved running on the trails. Waking up to the sounds of the creek was so peaceful and serene.

Great little spot on the creek and if you have a trailer you do not want to spend a lot of time backing this spot works as you can drive right through past the house, into the camp, and out the other side onto the road again. Bit of a lip on the road side so longer vehicles might have an issue with that.

Beautiful spot! Site was well-maintained. The trails were nice to hike.
Great place to camp. Easy to access and so comfortable. Hosts are amazing! Would definitely stay with them again. Just sad we couldn't stay longer then a night.
