You'll be camping on our Stanley lake sugarbush property. Lakefront sites have power and water - are located in a grassy clearing on the shores of Stanley Lake. ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON PROPERTY!! Primitive sites are amongst the maple trees of our sugarbush operation, within walking distance of the lake. These sites do not yet have water or electricity, but water is available from spigots at the lake clearing. Stanley lake is just shy of 400 acres, known for walleye and bass. It is an all sports lake with no limited wake hours. Feel free to roam our woods - you will notice the blue maple lines come to an end at our east and west property lines, as well as a no trespassing sign on the lake clearing to the west line. Deer here are plentiful, and you can often get them to eat from your hand, provided you have apples. Iron county has a tremendous ORV/snowmobile trail system. You can drive your machine right from our property to the trails. There are two golf courses in the area, as well as a vast bicycle trail system. Ski Brule ski hills and sporting clay operation are a few miles from the property. Countless acres of public land for recreation!

We don't have any livestock anymore and rent the fields to the neighbors but the home, outbuildings and five acres are well-loved and used as our home base and also for rustic weddings, graduation parties, reunions and barn dances. In 1974, the farm was used as the location for the TV movie "Things in Their Season" starring Patricia O'Neal. We put up one of the first barn quilts in the county and are on the route of the Bike the Barn Quilts bike ride (held last Saturday in September.) Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent or roll your RV up to a beautiful farmstead (we no longer have animals, crops only). We are a rustic wedding / event venue located mid-way on the Mountain Bay Trail, Wisconsin's longest rail-trail which runs about 90 miles from Weston to Green Bay. Fire pit available. Bears have been seen on the property so please use bear safe camping practices. If your children use the ninja line or hammocks on site they do so at their own risk and we are not held liable for any injuries that may occur. You may notice a zip line. Weekend Trip to Da Sugarbush on Stanley Lake

Silver Maple tent site has abundant room including two picnic tables. Surroundings offered a flat tent space, lovely tall trees to hear the wind’s rustle leaves and look up at the canopy above with mesh ceiling. Near a pit outhouse, bonus. Just a brief gravel road to beautiful wood showers and more amenities like an outdoor sink with faucet, Starlink internet and dock at lakeside for stargazing or other fun. Welcoming hosts, just look for gravel road turn by handful mailboxes before/after Wicklund (don’t turn there). You’ll know the entry point from seeing blue property lines. Look forward to a return trip!!

We had a peaceful stay at Nancy and John’s farm. We chose to pitch our tent behind the outbuildings near the cornfields which blocked the security lights. We appreciated the flush toilet and enjoyed dinner around the fire pit. This is a great site for those looking for some solitude and privacy.

Weekend Trip to Koeller Century Farm

Great stay! They’re farm is BEAUTIFUL. Nice grass you can camp on wherever you want. The fire pit is well maintained and the bathroom/ sink are all clean. They even let us charge things in the barn. John was very kind and told us the history of his family on the farm. If we’re in Wisconsin again we will happily camp here!

Weekend Trip to Koeller Century Farm

Nancy and John’s land was absolutely stunning. Nancy sent a very in depth message of great spots to set up for the night and also where to find the toilet, etc. There land was very easy to find! Once we got set up we started a fire and hung out there for a night. John came over to say hi and make sure that we were able to find everything okay and had a great conversation. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful experience - We loved the lake, so clean and clear, and the site was perfect! A great experience for our family. Close enough to parks and recreational activities, and far enough to be able to be right in nature. Animals galore. We loved every minute. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Koeller Century Farm

Beautiful, safe, and peaceful farm to camp on. We just spent one but it was relaxing. Our host was welcoming and hospitable. He showed me where the toilet, sink, and offered us fire wood as well to use. I would suggest pitching your tent by the tree, not between the garages because the security lights stay on. But this is a good spot for parking. Would book again in the future.
