We are less than a 1/4 mile from Maniac Mountain Haunted House, so you will hear the chainsaws, gun shots, and screams during the Sept-Nov time. We have 120 acres of wilderness you can explore. Be cautious of wildlife and look for WARNING signs. We have a private shooting range in the bottom fields of the property so you may hear gun shots April- September. The range is for our junior marksmanship program to practice for Nationals and local matches.
For winter months Oct-April water supply will be limited. A propane heater can be requested as well for the the yurt.

Hello Campers! Our property is 16.5 acres, two of which are along the Tygart Valley River and the rest are within forest canopy on the mountainside. We are in the low foothills of the Appalachia. We have 4 riverfront sites and we are continually changing our space around This year we will be adding a tiny house on site 4 and a sweatlodge with soaking pool on Site 1 additional camping spots along the property near outhouse
Each site is equipped with a steel fire pit/grill and a picnic table. We have been busy building hiking trails and more primitive campsites on the 14.5 acres on the hillside across the road from the riverfront for all to enjoy.
Step outside your tent and enjoy natures bounty —outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, hiking, bird watching are all at your fingertips and much more. There are 300+ acres of public land less than one mile away with miles of ATV and hiking trails and stocked ponds. If you're a fan of waterfalls just 4 miles down river is Arden Falls, one of our areas best kept secrets. The Tygart Valley River is one of the top kayaking rivers in the country. Audra State Park is less than 20 minutes away with lush forest trails with caves to explore. Well known hiking trails such as Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, and the Dolly Sods are all within an hour drive. Go to Nelson Rocks for the ultimate climbing experience on the Via Ferrata.

Our secluded 80-acre farm is nestled in a valley between three mountains, where two babbling creeks meet—over two miles from the nearest residence. A lightly traveled public dirt road runs through our property. While an SUV or 4x4 is recommended, regular cars can access the site, and we have parking for standard vehicles. Please check with us in advance if you plan to bring an RV. Our farm is a great destination for overland camping—perfect for getting your truck a little dirty!
We are cautiously dog-friendly. Our farm dogs patrol the property to protect our free-roaming animals, so visiting dogs must be well-behaved, leashed, and comfortable around other animals. If you're unsure about compatibility, please reach out for advice. Our dogs will come to your camp to "check you out". If your dog has a problem with other dogs that are new to them you must let us know so we can control our dogs. We have had people come with problem dogs and not tell us so, we are asking for a $1 extra that we now require as a pet fee.

We had a group of 6 (3 tents) and 2 dogs. We stayed at RV10 and had a wonderful time. The campsite easily accommodated the all of us and was easy to find. The porta potties were clean and the coffee house at the center of camp was a nice touch. We also appreciated the firewood that was available to purchase via common phone apps or cash. It was too cold for us to take advantage of the beautiful river, but the beach was nice and would be a blast in warm weather.
We want to give a big shout out to Vince! He checked on us when we arrived and even led us on a hike to a cave and an amazing waterfall not far from camp center. We really appreciate a campsite that values nature and laid back atmosphere, which is exactly what we got. Highly recommend!

Vincent, the owner/Manager is such a gentleman and very helpful. He even stopped by on our site to make sure we’re fine or if we need anything. We went ran out of gas for my griller and he literally got some for me as I couldn’t find any in town. We had a great time with family and my friend also got the next spot to us and hanging out for weekend and celebrate Mother’s Day too!

Nik and Beth were absolutely amazing hosts!
We are novice campers and 2 lgbtq+ women so we were a bit nervous about our trip to West Virginia. But Nik and Beth made us feel so welcomed and safe!
We really enjoyed getting to chat with them by the fire our first night there. They are just lovely people. My wife especially loved their sweet dogs.
Nik went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. He even spent time letting us see their piglets and telling us about their animals! I honestly don’t think you could find better hosts.
The property is beautiful and nicely tucked away from everything. A really nice escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The drive in was fine in our truck. I thought it was a little bit of an adventure in itself. We saw several deer on our way in and out. I would be cautious driving it at night if it’s your first time just because it does have some tight turns.
The WiFi was a plus! I had no issues with getting a signal (AT&T) but my wife did (Mint) so that was nice for her to have. Though we tried to stay off our phones as much as possible because you just want to soak up being away from it all!
We definitely want to come back and hopefully stay longer! They truly helped make our trip enjoyable, easy, and memorable! Thank you!!!
