We have two sites different sites in the property. Site #1 “ A mountain Side Retreat” Is a 20ft diameter Bell tent yurt on a 20x24 foot platform giving you a 4foot porch to sit and listen to nature. If you're a fan of waterfalls just 4 miles down river is Arden Falls, one of our areas best kept secrets. The Tygart Valley River is one of the top kayaking rivers in the country. Audra State Park is less than 20 minutes away with lush forest trails with caves to explore. Well known hiking trails such as Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, and the Dolly Sods are all within an hour drive. Go to Nelson Rocks for the ultimate climbing experience on the Via Ferrata. Weekend Trip to On Rivers Edge

I had an amazing time. Just me and my 2 dogs. We were the only ones there and it was so peaceful. Everything was really clean and he already had wood chopped up in an assortment of sizes. The next morning he brought me a cup of coffee and dry firewood along with offering to start it. While he started the fire, we chatted for a bit. I really appreciated his story and the kindness. We walked on the rail trail after hearing about the coal mining back there. The doggos loved it. I come to WV every year, this year had been exceptionally rough. But going alone for the first time and having it be an amazing experience, just what my soul needed. I will absolutely be coming back next year and can’t wait to see all the upgrades he has planned (:

Weekend Trip to The Pointe at Riffle Farms

We hammock camped at The Pointe at Riffle Farms and it was a great experience from start to finish. We had the site entirely to ourselves, which made it feel wonderfully private and secluded. Being so close to the bison was the highlight — it’s not every day you get to fall asleep and wake up with a herd grazing nearby, and the farm tour gave us a great look at how the operation runs. The portapotty was a bit of a walk from the site, but it was still a welcome upgrade over no bathroom at all or a composting toilet. Would definitely book again and recommend it to anyone wanting a unique, laid-back camping spot with a wildlife twist.

3 nights at Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Camp

This was our second time at Brooklyn Heights in just 2 weeks because we loved it SO much! It was me, my fiance, and 3 kids, plus 2 big dogs! We rented one of the cabins this time & it was amazing. Having a fridge, electric and a/c really makes a mid-July stay so much more relaxing! We mainly just slept in the cabin & not much else because we were either at the river swimming/paddle boarding or relaxing by the fire pit, which is perfectly shaded, but it was surprisingly spacious & having a cool space & comfy bed at night was so great!! Vince is so friendly and kind. The amenities are wonderful! The cheap firewood, the coffee pavilion, a place to wash dishes, and most importantly VERY CLEAN portapotties!! No complaints! We cannot wait to come back again.

Very beautiful location. You can tell that Emily and Dustin really care about how the campsites are presented. Very easy access to the river and all sites have access to a well kept outhouse. Emily and Dustin were able to provide some suggestions of local spots to explore, and Dustin started a communal bonfire on our last night. Will definitely be back!

We loved camping by the river on this land. The site is where the river splits and then joins back together, a really cool spot. The views are absolutely beautiful. The kids enjoyed fishing and playing in the water. The site was the perfect amount of shade and sun. Samantha, our host, was more than accommodating. We would love to visit again. I was a little concerned with the site being close to the road but it ended up being better than expected. We had a great time. Thanks Samantha!!!

We have stayed at Vince’s campground twice now and both times have been awesome. There’s a lot of stuff to do within an hour drive of parsons and the campsites right in the river are amazing. The kids love being able to go straight from camp into the water. I recommend Vince’s campground time and time again. Recommend it to everyone I know.
