Greg was a great host. He was always making sure we were having a good time and that we had all what we need that he could provide us. The campsite was clean, it’s definitely a nice place for camping although we couldn’t get in the river due the bad rain from days before camping . We will definitely go back so hopefully we can enjoy the river.

We tent camped at site 3 and had a wonderful experience. Very family-friendly, and right off the AT. The sites have brick fire pits, benches, and picnic tables - everything we needed. The folks who run the place were lovely and the surrounding land was very pretty. Also, the privy was very clean. We look forward to staying again in the future!

The site was clean sat in a lovely ring of trees and other sites. There are two privy’s at these sites and then another up by the lodge. Each site comes with one bucket of wood per day, which was enough to last us for the day. It is primitive camping and everything is available, but self serve. We were looking to get away from civilization, so this was perfect for us.

My kids and I had so much fun. A beautiful get-away. It makes me wonder why I ever moved away from WV. We loved being able to watch the rain land on the roof of the house while we slept. The organic tea was delicious. Everything was neat and tidy. We will tell all of our friends about this special place.

Not only is the location right in the state park, the host is extremely accommodating and friendly. The wet house is a spectacular bonus. There is a fridge and stocked tiny kitchen for quick meals or coffee in the morning. Was also nice to have electricity if needed for recharging, etc. I spent my evening in the state park mountain biking. The state park is very nice with tons to do. There are some nice trail systems, and one giant loop around the lake. I would highly recommend this hipcamp to anyone, especially those who seek adventure. . If I come through that way again, I will gladly stay there. 10/10

Greg's spot was so beautiful and away from roads enough that all you could hear was the joy of other campers. I rode over in my Prius, and he helped accommodate my trip by putting me up on a campsite that would be easier on my tires (it was a rainy weekend) I will definitely be returning. There is access to a rice by way of the CNO trail, and so many places to drive to. You can still receive service out there, and it very much a bare bones old school camp style: fire pit, porta pots, Greg is quick to respond and takes care of his guests. Thanks!

I loved my stay at Invisible LOVE house. I slept great and foun it to be very peaceful, enchanting place that exceeded my expectations. It is a true jewel in WV. The hots were delightfully wholsome and I felt like they were are my family. I felt safe and at one with nature in this beautiful cabin, and my dog Zeus loved it too. Greg puts a lot into making it wonderful and he is involved in making things better, always improving the sites, adding infrastructure and support. We tent camped and enjoyed everything this site has. We loved the close access to the water for tubing and fishing. We used the grill and fire pits and appreciated the nearby toilet and trash bin. Very clean area, and mostly secluded with other guest spread out. Beautiful property, will definitely come back!

1 night at Casita Of LOVE (Panhandle WV)

Looking for some time in nature my son and I booked at stay the Invisible LOVE house. We loved it. We found it to be very peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay again. I loved laying in bed and seeing the sky above me. Pablo was very helpful throughout the booking process and stay. There is a bit of a walk from the parking to the house so be mindful of how much you bring in quantity and weight.

Such a beautiful space! We stayed 2 nights. Kristen is super kind and welcoming! There were snacks in the fridge and chickens and chicks for the kids to see. The fireflies at night were spectacular. Truly a great spot to camp and you still get a toilet and running water!

Camping at Taylor’s Landing was a great experience. Greg was a great host and we look forward to returning in the future. The camp area had easy access to hiking trails, as well as to the Potomac River. There is also a cave to explore, not far from camp which was awesome. I would highly recommend this camping ground to family and friends.

Loved it here! Although the weather didn’t totally cooperate- it was great being in the creek in the rain! Ben was very accommodating and answered questions very quickly. The farm dog Hopper came to visit- we think he’s a ninja- he snuck up on us while sitting at the fire and scared the crap out of us!

The recreational draw to this area is hard to beat in VA, and this property has it all for an amazing outdoor weekend! The ranch comprises 40 acres of lowland acreage designated for the camp, including a 5-acre lake. The Cedar Grove sites 1, 2, and 3 are along the banks of Passage Creek located within a sparse, groomed Cedar grove. They are all a short walk (or drive) to the lake and beach amenities. Each site has varying access to the creek, so check out the site details. These sites are extra large and can accommodate multiple family groups, as well as, travel trailers of all sizes up to off-road motorcoaches in site 1. There are no hookups, so just boondocking. Pack it in, Pack it out. Generators are allowed but please be aware of the other sites and direct the noise away. The Lakeside Mountain Stream site is very secluded, nestled between the mountains and the lake. It overlooks our 5-acre lake with mountain views in the background. It's on the opposite side of the lake from the Cedar Sites. This site has its own dock and is just a short walk down a mowed trail to a beautiful section of Passage Creek. An additional seasonal mountain stream can cascade behind the site and run under it to feed the lake when the conditions are right. It's a delicate site, so the accommodations and group size is strictly limited. Check out the reviews and extensive gallery for many options of this amazing property! Locally, the North end of Fort Valley offers many great hiking trails, trout fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, and the Elizabeth Furnace day-use park. There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support! This site includes potable water and electricity on site, designed with water and electric hookups for a single camping vehicle, maximum 6 people. Harper's Ferry is 30 minutes way and downtown Historic Shepherdstown is just down the road. We are also close to several state parks. - What do we mean by "RUSTIC" ? The camping experience we offer is about unplugging from the modern world , getting back to basics, slowing down and re-connecting with the land. Simply put, this is CAMPING .... not glamping. (Our Cosmic Cottage is also rustic, despite the amenities that come with it). - CAMPSITES and TREEHOUSE - No electricity or wifi on the land. Campsites and TREEHOUSE are nestled in the woods. So although your vehicle will be parked within 50 ft or so from site, you cannot pull directly up to the site and get any closer because of the trees. - SHOWER and PORTA POTTY - roughly a 5 minute or less walk from sites to shower and / or porta potty. Shower hours are 8 am- to 8 pm. The shower has hot and cold running water . You can drive to the shower if you need to. - RESPONSE TIME - This is a working herb farm/ sanctuary and we so do not always have our phones on us. We will make every effort to respond to you within a few hours.
