Learn more about this land: This wooded area is 5 miles away from the Ohiopyle State Park whitewater launch area and GAP bike trail. We are less than 9 miles from Frank Lloyd Wright's Classic Fallingwater and about 8 miles from Kentuck Knob one of the last resident homes he designed (both are open for tours). Fort Necessity National Battlefield is 5 miles away. There are numerous native trout streams in the area. Youghiogheny Reservoir is 7 miles away for fishing, boat rentals, and water-sports. Although if someone would want to park a "self contained" camper or small RV on the property we would permit the unit to occupy the area in front of the driveway just pass the entrance gate. We moved it to the present location and completely remodelled it in 2018 and added the bathroom. For 4 years, guests enjoyed an off-the-grid experience. In 2023, when we began work on the glamping dome (stay tuned--coming soon!!), we decided to add electricity, running water, and a hot tub to the tiny house! Weekend Trip to Ferns in the Forest

Virgil & Pam really go above and beyond at The Fern House! The cabin was comfy and stocked with everything one could need for an extended weekend away. Our hosts were generous and gracious. They provide great communication and hospitality. We spent 3 nights and wish it could've been longer! Our pups loved the mile walk around the property each morning plus great hiking spots nearby. We took advantage of the fireplace, local eatery suggestions, and the loft was the perfect hideaway for resting and waking to beautiful wooded views. We cant wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Full Moon dome. 2 adults and 3 large dogs had PLENTY of space both inside and outside to rest and relax. We LOED watching the sheep outside the large dome window while drinking coffee in the mornings (French press provided!). There was plenty of firewood for the firepit and a propane grill nearby - we had such a peaceful experience. Highly recommend ordering some popovers and banana nut w/ chocolate chip muffins! We ordered the night before and Remy had them made and packaged in a wonderful picnic basket by 08300 the next morning! And while you're there, pick up some fresh grass-fed steak for grilling bringing home. Directions: site navigation was very easy. Custom road, parking, and site signs made it very easy to find the dome at night, All linens for both bed and futon are provided so we didn't need to worry about packing bedding/pillows etc Traveled in early November and didn't have any issues with bugs like mosquitoes or ticks. Compost toilet in the dome was such a luxury and easy to use. Tips/tricks: bring a bucket or bowl for gray water. You'll need a way to wash plates/utensils, french press, hands etc.

Awesome location , Tucker County, WV. Many, many parks near, Federal, National, State and local towns. Dog absolutely loved it here. Easy car access to tent and cabin sites.

The perfect spot for a getaway! The hosts have thought of everything to make this spot comfortable and easy to be in. I felt relaxed right away. I especially loved having morning coffee on the deck listening to the birds and squirrels and other critters start their days. Thank you for sharing this lovely space!

Weekend Trip to Our Farm in Strasburg, VA

We loved the Full Moon Tent at Remy’s Farm! The tent was spacious - which came in handy during a rainy evening. Bed was comfy, plenty of blankets and pillows to stay cozy for a lazy morning or cool evening. The views were lovely. We had fall colors, lots of open space, and a perfect getaway from the city. We’ll definitely be back!

The cabin was amazing and had everything and more! There were games, kitchen supplies, grill with a stove, and they provide firewood. Since we went in October we had a heated blanket and there was a space heater in there as well. Berkeley Springs is close by and they have nice restaurants and a farmers market on Sundays. Definitely will be going back!

Wonderful cabin, just as described. Beautiful views and large walkable property. Lots of thoughtful touches including kindling basket and solar lights. Nicely supplied kitchen and propane grill was great for cooking. Everything we needed for an off grid weekend was thought of. Would happily return.
