Pets are welcome - please make sure they are well behaved and are kept close to the cabin. I do have my own friendly dogs (Ruby and Muskett) on the property, but they do not have access to the cabin area. At Squaw Rock RV Resort, adventure awaits with a variety of activities to keep you entertained. Take a refreshing dip in our 20 x 40 pool, or enjoy the thrill of rafting, tubing, and kayaking on the river. Our campground also features a playground for kids, and we are excited to announce that volleyball, basketball, tetherball, and horseshoe pits will be available soon. The Willett family originally homesteaded Squaw Rock between 1920 and 1922, starting as a garage and small store. Over the years, Mr. Willett Pets: Only 2 pets are allowed per cabin.

This property was calm, clean and offered us privacy, nature, a place to cook, showers and a hot tub. The camping locations are spread out and we didn’t mind the quick stroll to reach the various amenities. It took us about little more than an hour to visit Mt. rainier and offered a view on the river as well. We hope to come again.

Weekend Trip to Retired DNR Fire Watch Cabin

Absolutely stunning place to stay with tons to do close by. The cabin is extremely cozy and the place is completely secluded. We felt like we were the only ones there. The cabin and the bathroom/kitchen area was clean and stocked with the essentials (plates, fridge/freezer, shower, portable generator for the cabin, lamps, bbq and more). We caught a thunder storm on the last night of our stay and it was so relaxing. We’re excited to come back in the winter when it is snowing.

This is a level pine needle covered driveway in a rural quiet neighborhood with a lovely trail 2 blocks away. The space felt safe, easy in/easy out. We met a few neighbors, had a good night sleep, broke camp and took off on time. The host was not on site but responded to questions right away. We car camp with an attached tent. I was glad to have curtains on the car windows as the solar lights on the porch were bright most of the night.

Great spot only 15 minutes from Mt Rainier and about an hour from Paradise Visitors Center. The camp spot is nestled in a small cul-de-sac with a few cabins around and generally quiet. We heard the occasional 4x4 cruising the roads which is pretty common given the amount of trail riding options down the road. Highly recommend if your looking for a convenient location to the park while enjoying the luxury of full hook ups.

Weekend Trip to Retired DNR Fire Watch Cabin

This adorable cabin was perfect for our romantic 33rd anniversary weekend of hiking and huckleberry picking. The bed is soft and comfortable, the cabin is rustic but homey. Comfortable chairs outside and a propane grill that saved us from having to pack our own. There a shower, bathroom and fridge about 25 yards away. A coffee maker, microwave and air fryer are there to use if you want to eat dinner in. Trout Lake is one of our favorite places to visit - we've been coming up every huckleberry season for the past 20 years -- now we have a new favorite place to stay!

We spent 4 days at the site and enjoyed it. Our dogs were able to be outside with us off leash to just hangout, and that was nice. I would recommend staying there. There is a rental cabin next door, but there was enough trees to provide privacy, so was not an issue for us. Additionally, the host provided excellent communication, so the site was easy to find. My friends and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. It was great to have so much privacy, a really gorgeous setting, and good amenities. The bathrooms were very clean and nicely decorated. We made fabulous memories sitting along the river and enjoying the scenery and solitude. The owner is great at communication and has done a wonderful job to make this a welcoming space. We hope to return!
