49mi from Westport · 4 sites · TentsNestled along the Clearwater River in a quiet, forested stretch of the Olympic Peninsula, Salmon Run is a small family-owned campground offering a peaceful, back-to-nature experience. Located between the Quinault and Hoh rainforests just 3.6 miles north of Highway 101 and about 10 miles from Kalaloch Beach, this peaceful spot is a quiet alternative to the busy coastal campgrounds.
Sites include a fire ring, a flat spot for your tent, and a picnic table (except Camp 4). At the north edge of the campground, a short trail through the floodplain forest provides access to the river and gravel bar. There’s no potable water onsite, so bring drinking water or your filter for the river. Directly across the street, guests have access to a clean Sanican, a gravel parking area, and free WiFi in front of the main shop. Dogs are welcome, as long as they stay leashed and are never left unattended. Bundles of firewood are available for purchase.
