Homesteaders came here in 1890, prior to that there was no human habitation. A perfect base camp to explore the many varied facets of the West side of the Olympic Peninsula. The campsites are on acreage of a very small off-grid farm. Relax and forget the stress.
There are 6 tent sites and 2 small RV sites. Toilets are available, as well as trash bins, potable water, and picnic tables. We do not allow pets.

The campsite was tidy and exactly what we imagined. Plenty of room

Imagine the friendliness of staying at a distant cousin's organic farm, with the facilities of a top-notch campsite. Only regret was that we were crashing there quickly, and weren't able to stay longer and relax on-site. Eight years ago I bought this property, cleaned it up and changed an old local 1930s grocery store into my pottery studio. I continue to try to be a good steward to this little piece of land with very big trees. One side faces my studio with drive through access to a bunkhouse and hookups and the other is tent camping with room to explore. With a dog yard available you will be able to relax and enjoy.

This is a beautiful, quiet, and comfortable campsite! We were especially impressed by the shared kitchen - as it was quite cold while we were there! The kitchen is lovely, with a wood cookstove. We loved staying with Paul and Carol, who are very interesting and friendly.

The campground was in a beautiful corner of the earth and owned by a kind, friendly couple. The campsite felt private and had it all; a bench, water, a fire pit and a tent platform. We enjoyed cooking in the communal kitchen with a wood stove. I highly recommend!

Wonderful little spot north of Hoquiam! Sandy was very friendly and accommodating . I was the only one there when I went. The spot is near a road but it wasn’t too loud, it was quite peaceful at night!

We enjoyed our campsite and the communal spaces provided by the host. Our nights were quiet, but we still enjoyed the hoot of an occasional owl. A mist-covered mountain is a great view with a morning coffee. The property location is perfect for enjoying nearby hiking trails.

A very peaceful site and I like that there’s only a handful of sites, a community kitchen and the host was super friendly, greeted upon arrival and left us alone (unless we needed something) which was awesome. Lots of nature and fun listening to the owls all night!

This was the perfect campground to be able to enjoy Olympic! We felt right at home here and loved the additional amenities. Having access to wifi and potable water were "musts" for this trip and both were readily available. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. Would absolutely come here and stay again!

We enjoyed the adventure of our family's first fully off-grid experience at Paul's place. The composting toilet was a slight challenge for our young kids, but Paul made up for it with his garden tour and the opportunity to pick fresh berries, feed his hens, and forage.
I, personally, enjoyed the community kitchen the most. The wood-burning stove took some time to get used to, but again, it added to the adventure of our stay and cooked some tasty food including cheeseburgers and birthday pancakes.

Abby’s place is in a great location. Close to everything. We walked to dinner and could have walked to many other things. The beach is just a short drive away. We were able to let the dog out on her cord and she had room to move around. There wasn’t anyone staying in the house while we were there which made it more comfortable for us. The full hookups are always appreciated! There is some road noise but it gets quiet at night. Thanks for sharing your space with us.
