We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. Ocean Shores is known as a small charming coastal community with an abundance of recreational and cultural activities. It is also surrounded by miles of sandy beaches on the Pacific Ocean as well as Grays Harbor. Its 23 miles of inter-connected canals and lakes charm you with their breathtaking views. Surrounded by trees and vegetation you will have all the privacy you seek as you are the only campers here. This is a very large space to share with those of your choosing. There are no "lights out" or "quiet times" for you to worry about. Large open space for camping with friends and family to gather and enjoy each others company.  Dogs are able to be leash free and enjoy the space as well. Only a ten min private walk to the ocean through the dunes to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, kite flying, picnics on the beach, day camping, amazing sunsets and so much more. Rubber boots (maybe some waders, depending on the winter) are recommended for the hike to the beach during the winter months (November-May) as you will have a small trek through seasonal wet lands. You may also access the beach/ocean by vehicle just a few minutes away in town.  You will be located between the Quinault Casino and the City of Ocean Shores where you can enjoy all the wonderful activities there is to offer.  If kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding is what you are seeking, many are unaware of the 23 miles of scenic canals in the City of Ocean Shores.  You may also fish for bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch and bluegill sunfish in these waterways.   I hear there are a couple little Islands to explore as well.  What a hidden treasure! There are three launch sites available we can give if needed.  And if you left something at home, sitting there thinking he was going to grab it (haha) no worries, you more than likely can grab it in town. The Ace hardware is amazing!  There is an Arcade, golf, miniature golf, go carts, water go carts, bowling, horseback rentals (seasonal) for the beach, electric bike rentals, scooter rentals and so many more activities for you to enjoy.  A wonderful place where memories are made.

The campsites are on acreage of a very small off-grid farm. Relax and forget the stress. There are 6 tent sites and 2 small RV sites. Awesome location near everything in Quinault. Received a fun, short tour of the property from our hosts who are incredibly nice. The campsite was tidy and exactly what we imagined. Plenty of room between us and our neighbors, and we barely knew that they were there. The outhouse is basic but clean and charming. Imagine the friendliness of staying at a distant cousin's organic farm, with the facilities of a top-notch campsite. Our property is a wooded 10 acre lot with a large open camp area and grass field for group camp. Located just a short walk from Copalis beach. The driveway and parking pad supports multiple vehicles and grass area supports multiple tents. There's a fire pit and portapotty on site. The lot is 350 ft wide with privacy from neighbors. We have security cameras for when the property is vacant, they are turned off when guests are staying.

And our private beach is just down the road from our campground. You might have seen "Private Beach Front" Property campground on hipcamp that is our property too. We have a canvas bell tent on one end of our beach.

Our lakeside property has been in our family for 3 generations. The lake has a low number of residence and their are no private owners and no houses North of us. It is ideal for kayaking, fishing, swimming, water skiing, and more! In the Winter, a creek runs through our property, however it dries up during the summer months. As the name suggests, Lake Pleasant is very "pleasant".

Our stay here checked all the boxes. Perfect location for an Olympic rainforest adventure. Host was very responsive and accommodating. The river sites are worth the extra money, the view is awesome. Sani Can was super clean. The sites are close together so not too much privacy if it’s peak season, but we were there in December and had the place to ourselves. Would recommend!

Karlee is very kind, attentive, and is a great communicator. There are permanent residents there, but it’s still neat and quiet. The spot was level and was extremely easy to back into. The location is great; as it’s walking distance to the quaint main street in Forks. We were able to conveniently book just a couple hours before our arrival time and received a timely confirmation from Karlee shortly thereafter. We are looking forward to staying here again on our trip back!

Stayed there for a clam dig. The site is right on a beach approach so easy access. I was worried the close by road would have been noisy but it was very quiet. Nice big sites and they have a clam cleaning station on site.

Weekend Trip to Lake Pleasant RV

Easy access to all sorts of locations, coastal trails, Forks, and Olympic National Park. Site was very easy to maneuver. No problem for most larger vehicles. Very quiet with great views. Hookups were placed well and easy to use. Sites are pretty level with a little drop towards back. Nothing to subtract from the stay. Really enjoyed the ease of access to different areas.

Weekend Trip to Olympic Adventure Campground

We really enjoyed the location and ambiance of this campground!! The sites were clean and quaint, and although it is close to the highway we never once noticed the traffic or any noise. Really convenient to be so close to town and an easy drive to Cape Flattery, La Push and the coast, and Olympic/Hoh Rain Forest (all of which we visited and well worth it!). The only issue we had was that the office was closed/locked every time we tried to stop to sign the check in book and check out the gift shop (we stopped 5 times over the span of 3 days). John was fairly responsive to HipCamp messages and they did acknowledge our text message check in to the phone number listed on site. So we were able to let them know we arrived but never did get to see the gift shop which was a big bummer for us, we would have definitely supported! Overall a great experience and we would definitely return!!

We had a lovely stay at Mountain Shadow RV & Campground. The host was helpful and welcoming. The store was super convenient. The bathrooms were nicely updated and very clean! Yes, its right off the highway so you do get some noise if you stay closer to the front of the site but that didn't really bother us! If you are looking for a super rustic in the forest stay, this isn't it, but if you are looking for a well kept, centrally located stay with a nice community vibe, do it!
