We are located near Meigs Park as well as a 10-minute walk from Manitou beach and an easy bike ride to the ferry that goes to Seattle! 2 miles from the Grand Forest and 3 miles from Battle Point park. We are exactly 3 miles from the ferry terminal in a convenient mid-island location. NEED TO KNOW (managing expectations):A note on the bathroom: the hobbit hole is small and will not fit a bathroom or plumbing. Also our property borders a local 2 lane highway and you can expect road noise mostly during the day and evening. While it is a private setting you can expect to hear the road. This facility offers guided horseback trail riding at a variety of price points, as well as pony rides for younger children. They also have a petting zoo, complete with chickens, pigs, ducks, horses, rabbits, goats, and geese. They have two pet-friendly spaces for RVs under twenty-nine feet in length, and plenty of tent spots. Don’t miss this awesome location when going to or coming from Olympic! August thru September is wild blackberry season, and the campground is surrounded by them. Feel free to pick them! When you arrive, take the very first left (theres a metal welcome sign with a pink ribbon 🎀, not the driveway that says "no trespassing") and follow the driveway between the two horse pastures, down and around to the lower grassy parking area where the pigs and goat pen are (sharp left to big barn). Feel free to pet / feed produce scraps you may have to goats / pigs. You can bring treats such as carrots and apples for the horses too, but mind the teeth on all critters! Go on a fishing trip in many great rivers and lakes and salt water in the sound. A million frogs croak at spring and summer! Black bears won't bother you, if you see one. They're shy, leave them be. Coyotes howl at night. Cougars are not unheard of. It's pretty wild here! Walk our trails, and soon with plant identifiers and information stations. Find what Hood Canal has to offer!

We're less than 30 minutes from the Kingston or Bainbridge Island ferry. 5 minutes from downtown Poulsbo, less than that from Central Market (the best grocery ever!). At this time, I do not have space for car camping or drive in campers, it is a walk in only site. Also, we are under burn ban, so no fires. ** Please note ** this is an active farm. There are roosters and dogs, they are not close to you, but you can hear them depending on where they might be. And, they are not mindful of the time. We are also one property away from Bond Rd, so there can be road noise.

"Welcome to Dicks Last Resort on the River. Our 16 acre private riverfront property is located on the Dungeness River just outside the city of Sequim in Clallam County on the Olympic Peninsula. There are just two very large campsites. Each site can accommodate two RV’s or just a bunch of tents. You will have full access to the parcel allowing you to explore or just hang out at the river. We are pet friendly. Well behaved dogs can be off leash this vacation The nearest towns are Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Victoria B.C., and Sequim where you’ll find restaurants, wineries, and more. The nearest attractions are Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Discovery Trail, Ferry Dock to Victoria B.C., Lake Crescent, and Hoh Rainforest where you can enjoy activities such as: boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, winter activities, hiking, biking, etc. Also, you can ride directly from the campsite to some fabulous mountain biking trails at Dungeness Trails. PLEASE NOTE, Both sites are equipped with an additional RV parking spot right on the river with 30 amp power and Wifi for an additional $45.00 per night. PLEASE ADD THIS AS AN EXTRA AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. Summer annual events include the Lavender Festival and Irrigation Festival."

Red Hawk Stables

Located in Sequim, Washington, Red Hawk Stables is the closest Harvest Hosts location to Olympic National Park. This facility offers guided horseback trail riding at a variety of price points, as well as pony rides for younger children. They also have a petting zoo, complete with chickens, pigs, ducks, horses, rabbits, goats, and geese. They have two pet-friendly spaces for RVs under twenty-nine feet in length, and plenty of tent spots. Don’t miss this awesome location when going to or coming from Olympic! August thru September is wild blackberry season, and the campground is surrounded by them. Feel free to pick them! When you arrive, take the very first left (theres a metal welcome sign with a pink ribbon 🎀, not the driveway that says "no trespassing") and follow the driveway between the two horse pastures, down and around to the lower grassy parking area where the pigs and goat pen are (sharp left to big barn). Feel free to pet / feed produce scraps you may have to goats / pigs. You can bring treats such as carrots and apples for the horses too, but mind the teeth on all critters!
