Camp Aporia is nestled in a cozy meadow surrounded by forest near a year-round creek between the mountains and the sea on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state. This private space is at the edge of the Buckhorn Wilderness to the south and neighbors with the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe (the Strong People) to the north. Our private nature retreat at the edge of civilization is less than a half a mile from hyway 101, with easy access to a nearby market-deli gas station, the Tribal Center, the Olympic Discovery trail, and nearby roads to mountain and marine activities. Our camp is the home of Tribal Edge primal wisdom center which has provided transformational taining in nature connection and ancestral skills fo people of all ages since 2002.The group campsite is perfect for large families, small groups (under 20), and retreats. It has lots of open space for private and group tent camping with a large parking area for car camping. Located where the mountains meet the sea on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state, our camp is nestled in a cozy meadow near a year-round creek, surrounded by forest. Optional Extras: RV hookup $25 | 30-foot yurt $100 (empty) | Custom-built Tiny House $150 I also offer optional private workshops in nature connection, survival skills, and martial arts for a unique experience (additional cost.) This private space is at the edge of the wild and has been the home of our local nature education center called Tribal Edge and the heart of transformational nature connection experiences for people of all ages since 2002. There is access to the Olympic Discovery Trail for walking and biking, and trails to the creek for nature watching or even taking a dip. I do not live on site; however, my friend Quincy is the camp caretaker and lives in the RV on the corner of the property. I may be there when you check in, or I may stop by to take care of things. If you need something, please feel free to contact me.
