Learn more about this land: This 10 acre parcel is on a south facing slope with a forest of growing trees that are all 12 feet apart. Wildlife like deer, turkeys, and an occasional moose are common. One can walk through the woods or just sit and listen to nature all around. It's a great place for hammock camping! Two miles to the East is Lake Coeur d'Alene with great boating, kayaking, and fishing. Loffs Bay has a public boat ramp and lake access. This is not a good site for RV's! National forest 38mi from Rockford · 166 sites
Named for a sprawling, sparkling body of water that just appears out of nowhere off the highway, Coeur d’Alene River Campground and Picnic Areas are a mind-boggling expanse of beauty, color, and water sports (swimmers, tubers, sailers, parasailers, and seaplane pilots bring your sunscreen). Giant, dense pine forests rise up along the shores of the flat riverbed, with gorgeous homes high up overlooking it—be sure to take a scenic drive through the neighborhood. The nearby historic town of Wallace is a great place for antiquing, bars, diners, and just general mountain charm, while the town of Coeur d’Alene itself has a very Scandinavian vibe; active and modern, yet very remote and relaxing!

Just a 10-minute drive from downtown, yet feeling a world away, our historic farm is the kind of place that slows you down the moment you arrive. "Belle" tent is perched to catch breathtaking sunsets and moonrises, with rolling fields and wildlife providing a front-row seat to nature at its finest. Two minutes up the road, hiking trails await for all skill levels. Two minutes the other direction, a favorite local winery offers tastings, live music, and great ambiance — and they're happy to have you bring your own charcuterie to pair with a glass. Mowed pathways wind through the farm, leading you to each discovery at your own pace. An evening-lit grove rests in the shade of a cherry plum tree at the bottom of the property. The old homestead loop makes for an easy-to-moderate hike that kids love to explore. Guests are welcome to forage fresh berries, herbs, veggies, and eggs throughout their stay — say hello to the chickens and help yourself to eggs, just do your best not to let the girls out (it happens to the best of us). A note for weekday stays: Our neighbor is currently building next door, with work starting at 7am Monday through Friday — no construction on weekends. To make those mornings a little more special, we offer complimentary breakfast and coffee delivered right to your tent. Just let us know your preferred time between 8 and 10am. Whether you're after a quiet retreat, an outdoor adventure, or simply a breath of country air close to town, we're glad you're here.

Owned the last 100 years by only two families. The Weber family was the last to own and operate the farm for over 60 years. House was built in 1917 and the barn was added in 1925. Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney. We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake. The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

The other parts of the property house a working Boarding stall and indoor arena for horses and the main residence is beyond that. There is water and power to the site as well as an established fire pit when burning is permitted.
