We had a wonderful time at Brian's cabin! It was clean and comfortable, and the toilet and hot shower were so appreciated! It is truly like being alone in the woods because it is so quiet. We loved playing Scrabble and listening to John Denver on the CD player. Our dog enjoyed the off leash walk up to the water tanks and back - Brian has a gorgeous property. It was a perfect weekend getaway and we can't wait to come back.

Our reasons for going or to get isolated from technology and the Internet and this cabin was the perfect place to do that. Kevin was an amazing host. He was quick with responses anytime we needed to contact him. He's thought of everything you might need and more! We had an amazing time enjoying the lake and water amenities. We had no luck fishing, but theres plenty of fish jumping and we will try again the next time we stay! We went in mid-September, so a bit off season and it felt very private and cozy.

2 nights at The Plank and Pillow on Pirate Cove
I had amazing time spending a couple of days here. It was peaceful and quiet at the cabin. The cabin really showed off it's pirate theme I adore it so much and the welcoming basket was great. Kevin made sure your stay was comfortable by having supplies for any activities for the lake and had enough supplies for bedding too. I am gonna come back here again in the future 😄

We absolutely loved this spot - one of our favorite stays ever! It was exceptionally quiet, clean and cozy. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity of the property - sitting on the porch watching the sunset, listening to the crickets, and watching the friendly deer eat blackberries. The trails behind the cabin were lovely for a daytime stroll and lounging in a sunny clearing.
Brian was such a friendly and welcoming host and made us feel comfortable and taken care of. We loved every second of our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Right on the lake, such a beautifull lake. Kevin thought of almost everything you could need and had it available at the cabin. Along with extra treats and surprises! He was very helpful with info and answered all my questions. I highly recommend a stay here.
