I took my 6-year old granddaughter here for a quick overnight getaway and loved it. She played on the beach for hours. Very relaxing. We wanted to stay longer, but the sites were already book. We definitely want to come back with the full family.

Really cool spot being right on the water. When we were there, it was in the low tide range most of day while the kids played. They were able to walk really far out in the muck and loved it. Lots of whole shells since its not picked over like the main beaches. We’ll try to go back in summer and paddle board. It stays a nice depth when tide is in

Site #5 is quiet and private with an elevated view of the water. Even with two of the other sites occupied, it was so peaceful, hearing more of the waves than the neighbors. Being able to walk straight onto the beach was lovely. The beach itself is very clean and private. Dual access gates were a huge plus, very convenient for coming and going. Overall wonderful location to quickly access Westport and only an hour from Ocean Shores. We also noticed the dumpster was carefully tendency to. Somehow never overflowing but we never saw or heard it being emptied. Local highlights: Blackbeard's Brewing in Westport. We loved everything we ordered. Kid and dog friendly. There are two locations, one being a taproom that's 21+ so make sure you choose the right one for your outing. Bay City Sausage Co. Save your sausage and jerky shopping until you get here, everything was phenomenal and they have stuff for your pooch. Hoquiam Brewing in Hoquiam. Probably some of the most unique and fun beers around. Menu was varied and they have great pizza.

3 nights at Coastal Family Hideaway

It was a great hideaway for my wife and I and our 2 dogs. Good privacy and quiet, felt like we were camping further out in the woods than such a short drive from town. Nice big fire pit and a large area to easily turn around our long camper van. The owner was also very nice and responsive.

Had a great time regardless of the storming weather as the crushed rock setting at the RV allowed for good drainage. The site is just far enough away from the highway to better enjoy the nature of the harbor. This park is right on the bay and just a mile from Bottle Beach State park which is another great hike with a camera.. Was not able to use the septic due to its distance/location our common front side dump, but found a RV station near Elma post stay. For longer stays this would pose a dilemma or if you arrive in need. Otherwise, much recommended.

Tyler was a great host. This was our family's first camping trip of the year and we had a great time on Tyler's land. Very well maintained and beautiful. We can't wait to come back later in the year, when the trees fill in and everything blooms.

The Delightful Farm

Our grandma was a very kind woman who was one of the most generous people you'd ever meet, so much so that she was often taken advantage of when it came to the amount of space she allocated of the farm to people's stuff, after she passed the family has spent over 2 years to remove over 15 tons of items that didn't belong to us. We are now so happy to present the Delightful Farm. A hemp experience that is quite the turnaround. We now have 4 pigs, 20 baby chicks and 30 full grown layers who are proliferating the farm pretty quickly. Our hemp which is definitely a mainstay is now over 6-8ft tall and growing and smelling delicious. Come on out and see what the buzz is all about. You're guaranteed to have a magical experience. Nestled in beautiful Mossyrock, in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains just off White Pass Scenic Byway in western Washington state, Blue Sheep Farm is less than a mile away from one of the best fishing holes in the state (Swofford Pond), and from Riffe Lake’s heavily-booked Mossyrock Campground. Our 20-acre property features densely-forested mountainside trails, a seasonal creek and pond, with a variety of hardwood and evergreen trees. Surrounded on three sides by Christmas tree farms, our farm is the last bit of wilderness left in the area. Only an hour from Mt. Ranier’s legendary winter sports, with hiking, fishing and festivals all both here and nearby, our farm provides a perfect Base Camp for your any-season getaway! Your campsite has 15a power and water, and gravel parking, and is located by the beautiful Western style brown barn at the end of Naylor Road (at the "End of County Road" sign). Note that the site has been leveled but is NOT perfectly level; it is however within the typical leveling ability of RVs at the size limits stated. The farm is located on a steep hillside (12% grade); there is only so much we can do. But the stunning views more than make up for any inconvenience, in our experience. Ovis Aries is the scientific name for “domestic sheep”, and indeed, we raise Romney sheep of all colors on our farm! You may also meet our sweet and friendly Morgan Horse mare, Naya, who likes to follow visitors around like a very large dog. We also have a small orchard with apples, persimmons, cherries, blueberries, and a pear, peach and almond tree beside the barn. We farm using organic, no-till, permaculture, silvopasture and forest grazing practices, and the sheep are entirely grass-fed, producing meat of the healthiest-possible quality. If fiber arts is your jam, we have a beautiful wool workshop, with a 40" 4-shaft, 6-harness Louet Hollandia floor loom, a 32" Harp rigid heddle loom, 5 spinning wheels, a drum carder, and numerous other fiber tools for scouring, prepping, spinning, dyeing, weaving, felting and knitting wool. One on one and small group classes are available with reservations. We also have a business center, including fast StarLink Wi-Fi. Farm Tours are given on request.

Surrounded by trees and vegetation you will have all the privacy you seek as you are the only campers here. This is a very large space to share with those of your choosing. There are no "lights out" or "quiet times" for you to worry about. Large open space for camping with friends and family to gather and enjoy each others company. Dogs are able to be leash free and enjoy the space as well. Only a ten min private walk to the ocean through the dunes to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, kite flying, picnics on the beach, day camping, amazing sunsets and so much more. Rubber boots (maybe some waders, depending on the winter) are recommended for the hike to the beach during the winter months (November-May) as you will have a small trek through seasonal wet lands. You may also access the beach/ocean by vehicle just a few minutes away in town. You will be located between the Quinault Casino and the City of Ocean Shores where you can enjoy all the wonderful activities there is to offer. If kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding is what you are seeking, many are unaware of the 23 miles of scenic canals in the City of Ocean Shores. You may also fish for bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch and bluegill sunfish in these waterways. I hear there are a couple little Islands to explore as well. What a hidden treasure! There are three launch sites available we can give if needed. And if you left something at home, sitting there thinking he was going to grab it (haha) no worries, you more than likely can grab it in town. The Ace hardware is amazing! There is an Arcade, golf, miniature golf, go carts, water go carts, bowling, horseback rentals (seasonal) for the beach, electric bike rentals, scooter rentals and so many more activities for you to enjoy. A wonderful place where memories are made.
