The River Resort sits on the Pilchuck River, it's located on a dead end private gravel road. This is one site with two bell tent canvas yurts. One party at a time is all we allow. Yurt #1 is 16 ft. has 1 queen bed a fold out single couch an electric fireplace. Yurt #2 is 16 ft. and has a double bed and same couch and fireplace. Payable directly to Bruce and Lynn at check out. Do NOT INCLUDE EXTRAS IN YOUR RENTAL FEE today. We do ask you to list everyone 5 and above so we know who will be on property. We are a recycle family so please use our recycle bins, but you must take out your own garbage when you leave. We will provide you with two large garbage bags.
We ask that you remove your shoes while in yurts. Animals are welcome and they can be inside the yurts, but NOT on furniture/beds. Also, we provide doggie poo bags, and a shovel so pick up what they leave behind them.
We have a camp box that can be rented if you want to camp but do not have typical camping supplies. You can fish from our rivers edge, but you must have a fishing license and know the fishing regulations in order to not be fined.

Your private getaway is secluded from the rest of the farm life but you are welcome to visit and partake in whatever the farm offers. We have Nigerian dwarf goats, apples, pears, plums, blackberries & Iris to enjoy. Wild animals abound. We are dog friendly, and we require all guests to clean up after their dogs. There are plastic bags provided for animal waste disposal when dogs are in the backyard and on neighborhood walks. Cleaning up after pets includes excess pet hair, especially on furniture. Please use the waterproof pet blanket provided for the sofa and bed.
Guests bring the animal onto the property at their own risk. The booking guest is liable for any damages that pets cause. (We will have to charge a cleaning fee if your dog leaves behind a mess or causes damage.)
We find that most people are cooperative and responsible with their pets. We love traveling with our fur babies, and would like to keep allowing pets in our listings. Thank you for being understanding and working with us to keep our rental available to pets!

My partner and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Hidden Creek Hideaway. Cozy is the key word for this site. We stayed warm by the wood-fired stove, strolled about the woods, and listened to the birds.

We loved staying at Hidden Creek Hideaway!
Immediately upon entering the tent, the beautiful set up captured our attention. The amenities were just as described, down to the last detail, and then some! There were a few snacks waiting for us too. On our first night, Charnie generously came to help us with the wood stove. The whole tent was warm and cozy with a fire going. The outdoor space was open, peaceful, and private. It was the perfect blend of backyard and woodland camping. We loved walking the trail, several times. The views the meadow is gorgeous and listening to the neighbors' animals at a distance while reading or drawing was relaxing. The outdoor bathroom set up was clean and efficient, and the hot shower was perfect for a chilly, November day. We highly recommend this spot and hope to come back as soon as we can!

Weekend Trip to Laughing Leaf Cottage
We went of for the weekend for a port gamble conference. After some research, we came across this lovely place! We absolutely looooooved the peacocks and goats! I would definitely love to visit again! The only thing I would recommend if you stay here through late fall or winter is to pack something warm to sleep in. It didn’t get a little chilly, but other than that, it was a lovely place. ♥️

No running water but everything else! The host has this little cottage cozied up with lovely linens, beautiful plants, and a few surprises. The property and surrounding area are beautiful. A very lovely tent glamping experience. It was a lovely and quiet area and great for the dogs to run around. The bathroom was great to have and a shower too. I really like the small trail out to a plateau of grass that felt very serene, calm. The stove inside helped keep the tent warm and there were fun games and books to keep you occupied.

Weekend Trip to Oso Highlands
Bear cabin was great! It is a simple, small cabin on a beautiful farm. We met the owner Alex on our first night when he was out feeding the animals. They have several ponies on the property, a horse, goats, chickens, a herd of friendly cows and a farm cat and dog to complete the set. We loved our stay and would stay again as a base camp for nearby hikes and recreation.

The yurt was so cozy and the area was secluded which made it easy to relax. The amenities such as a solar shower, grill and compostable toilet area with a pump sink is perfect for those who are not so comfortable with tent camping. The yurt is on the smaller side but it was enough room for my partner, myself and our pups! We enjoyed coming back to this area after exploring Bellingham and going for a swim at the nearby lakes. The directions were clear and we would definitely stay again :)

We really enjoyed this camp. The location is near great mountain biking and disc golfing. My brother was delighted with the tent-cabin, and we pitched a tent below. The field was perfect for his little dog, and we enjoyed watching the sunset over the mountains from the lower field. Some of the neighbors have several roosters, but that didn't bother us.

We had a fantastic stay at the Farmhouse! The hosts were responsive, friendly, and helpful. We spent most of our time at a friend's place on Lake Cavanaugh, and we loved the convenience of the back road, which is just a minute away. It made the 20-minute drive to the lake effortless. This house is a great option for anyone needing more space while visiting the area. Two families with a total of three children shared the house, and we all had plenty of room and stayed comfortable thanks to the AC. We love to cook and aside from some staples we brought from home found the kitchen stocked with everything we needed for meals and baking. The private backyard and porch were a definite bonus, offering a lovely, quiet space to relax outdoors.

I've stayed at many Hipcamps and Lynn and Bruce have been the best hosts! We absolutely LOVED the site and all the amenities. It was right on the river which was the best part. It was my sister's first time camping with her kids, and everyone had an amazing time. There were so many thoughtful touches from floats to kids painting supplies to string lights to plants around the site. We all fought over the hammock and had to limit time so we could all have a turn! You can tell they take very very good care of the site and the guest experience is important to them. The beds were really comfortable and each of the yurts had such great touches like lamps and fans, and even a drying rack. Really loved our time!
