Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach. A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing. Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival. 1 night at Wildbrook, a Travelers Reprieve

Finally venturing out to the PNW for the first time ever, alongside my partner, was months in the making with large hopes riding on it, and Paul couldn’t have been a more perfect way to kick off the adventure. Especially for Twin Peaks cultists such as myself, his ranch is perfectly nestled within North Bend, but with the seclusion from town needed to feel like you’re truly out in the woods; and more importantly, Paul displayed nothing short of a welcoming, affable energy that every well-intended traveler deserves, but might not always get. It was easy to tell how he genuinely wanted to get to know us and introduce us around his ranch which (at the time of writing) largely tenders to old horses looking to ride out their days in bliss (sup Mr. Big!), shy donkeys, and the cutest pack of little goats imaginable. I mean it when I say his welcoming spirit is the stuff of a feel-good story. The campsite itself might be in its humble early days of the amazing vision Paul has for it, but I absolutely can’t recommend enough to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient spot in North Bend to catch a good nights sleep and play a part in the work of love that Paul’s got going on!

We had a lovely Fall stay this weekend in our little camper. We loved the sounds of the coyote calls through the night. They were quite talkative but it was fun to hear the wildlife around us! My dog really enjoyed having the freedom and space to run and play. The quaint town of Duvall is super close so we enjoyed a beautiful brunch before packing up for home.

Loved the site, will say be on the lookout though on wild animals as we had an overnight visit from some coyotes so keep that in mind for small animals if off leash. Only con is mainly a 1 way road once in property so when we arrived there was another vehicle trying to leave so caused some issues. Overall beautiful and clean worth the trip over!

I visited Kambri'a to get used to our new RV, and I wanted to do a short trip, which was nearby to our home. This place was amazing, and it turns out, although quite close by, it is ideal to get some peace of mind. Kambria helped me out with cable adapters, which I did not have yet - so even with the new, way bigger RV than the one we had before (this is 34" and it fit the place no problem), I got perfectly hooked up in no time. It's a quiet and beautiful place, absolutely ideal, if you want to recharge and switch off from the busy town stress. I will most certainly go there again, when I need to do some projects in peace and quiet. Although I got Star Link, I never needed it, because up there, T-Mobile coverage was ace - I got as much as 100 MBit down at times, and never less than 50. Perfect, for working and streaming.

Roney River Ranch is amazing. So close to Seattle, Duvall is a fun, wonderful town. Camp sites are very spread out. Views are fantastic. One of the best I have stayed at.

The tent camping was perfect. Set at the back of the lake, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The host was so friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend going out there to everyone.

Fern Gully is a perfect spot for group camping, off in the back of the property offered much privacy! Beautiful grounds and very serene! Many trails and the lake had many Bass, but too small this year to keep. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Majestic Meadows

The campsite came with chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit. They had wood for sale and buckets for putting out the fire as well. The outhouse was clean and they had a spigot with well water nearby. Fern gully was so cute. I would definitely come back. I did peak at the other sites too and sun-kissed meadow was just so beautiful. Highly recommend.

The whole place is fantastic. Up over a ridge and then down so well away from the highway. Look like all the campsites had easy access to the water. Campsite 6 is amazing with a permanent tent and outside cover area. Well stocked with a gas BBQ and utensils. Everything is well built and very well maintained. If the weather is iffy, this is the campsite to book. David is very responsive and a great guy. Five stars and we will be back. For large groups booking campsites 1 & 6 together would work well R

I'm 74. My daughter and I enjoyed 2 nights, she in her van and me in mine. It's rare to find a quiet,secure campsite with incredible views so close and convenient. I opted to refrain from taking the short trail down to the river because it's not ideal for a man my age but kids would love it. I would recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys camping with a tent or a van--not a trailer or larger RV.

1 night at Pleasant Hill Private Park

Great spot, especially if you're attending Remlinger Farms events or want a conveniently located and private quiet and beautiful space to relax. The hosts were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and respectful.

For the plant lovers, there's a huge variety of vegetation to check out.

Weekend Trip to Pleasant Hill Private Park

Sally and Berry were amazing hosts. They have a beautiful property and our spot was nice and secluded. The porta potty was clean and convenient. Josh's hideaway is an awesome spot but my tent was definitely to big. A smaller tent would work better because there isn't a big level area. There are lots of trails. We were going to a concert at Remlinger Farms and there is a trail great for biking or walking to get there. Berry showed us how to find it. I would absolutely stay there again. We appreciated our hosts kindness.
