We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle.
We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.
We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites.
We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... Let us know if you have a special group event. We can discuss your needs and see if our property is a fit for you. Outdoor fires are by permission only. There are sometime burn bans for air quality and/or high fire danger. Fires may be allowed AT THE BEACH, below the high tide line, between October 1 and June 15, but there are various reasons they may not be allowed (air quality bans, windy conditions, etc.)Any fire you light must be put out COLD (no steam, no heat) with water and buried with sand before leaving them unattended. You are responsible for any damage or injuries caused by a fire you start, so please be careful!
Please note: It is very important that the number of people on site is accurate. Please contact Hipcamp to change the number of people - there currently is no way to do that on the site?! There is an additional charge per person above the base 2 person rate.
There is no outdoor music at any time. Quiet hours are 8 pm to 10 am.
There is no picnic table or any amenities, but you can fill up water at our barn if needed.
DO NOT USE THE WOODS AS A BATHROOM. It is necessary to bring your own latrine.
The water at (shallower) Dockton Park (about a 6 min drive away) gets warm from swimming in summer if you prefer it to 54 degree deep water here!
Please clean up after your pet. Dogs must be leashed AT ALL TIMES in the field. If no one is around at the beach, they can be off leash, but leash up if anyone approaches until they pass. Please never leave your dog unattended outside where barking will disturb the peace.

Enjoy panoramic, serene lake views in the back of the house, as you relax or enjoy a meal on the entertainment size patio.
Follow the path that’s embraced by flowering gardens, trees, next to a rock wall that winds gently down the hill past a fire pit, to an archway made of sticks, as you enter the expansive open space in front of you, with woods of the vacant land next door on the left side, and a huge grass lawn, where you are invited to play fetch with your well behaved dog, or throw a frisbee with a friend.
To get to the lake shore, keep left, next to the woods, which is my 1/3 portion of the huge open space. Go straight ahead to find my hidden private dock and secluded beach, at the end of a short waterfront trail. During the warmer months, the rowboat, tandem kayak, & 2 paddle boards are kept here, ready to take out fishing or for a tour around the peaceful lake.
Many water birds and other birds call this home. You may spot a great blue heron or crane as they stretch their wings for several minutes soaking up the sun. Or you may see,
osprey and bald eagles soaring overhead then diving into the lake to swoop up a fish for their next meal.
Spend the day relaxing at the beach with a good book, soaking up the sun, or enjoying a picnic at the two picnic tables. As the day winds down, gather around the beach fire pit, the fire pit next to the garden path, or the fire pit at your campsite for a relaxing evening camp fire.
Swimming is part of the good life here.
Life jackets are available to use, in many sizes, and there are plenty of beach towels too. We are installing a slide into the water, off the dock this summer. Motorboats aren’t permitted on this lake, so it’s always serene and peaceful.

Located on Spring Creek Road in Ronald, WA, it is a three minute drive to Lake Cle Elum. It is an hour and a half drive East of Seattle, and a ten minute drive to Roslyn.
There is unlimited recreation in the area, including many hiking and riding trails near by.
There is plenty of space on the property to bring your boat or ATVs (or rent from The Last Resort)! The power is 110v. We also have high speed WIFI making it easy to work from the campsite. Please note that we do not have water or sewer hookups.
There are two picnic tables and a fire pit in a large open area. There is a creek running through the property and string lights leading to it.
If you would like to use the propane fire pit table, please bring your own propane tank or you can fill up an empty one that is available at the campsite to use.

bought this place from a friend's family. The name is in honor of him, "Bruzas in Bumps & Bruzas." He loved having people out all the time for fires and BBQs and just random fun. This place was went meant to be shared in his vision, so thats what I'm doing with it.
We no longer allow dogs due to my dogs no longer being friendly to visiting dogs after being attacked. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The setup is simple, we are a
property on the Carbon River with nearly 800ft of river front access. The levee runs along the length
of the property creating
continuous camping availability.

I recently
bought this place from a friend's family. The name is in honor of him, "Bruzas in Bumps & Bruzas." He loved having people out all the time for fires and BBQs and just random fun. This place was went meant to be shared in his vision, so thats what I'm doing with it.
We no longer allow dogs due to my dogs no longer being friendly to visiting dogs after being attacked. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The setup is simple, we are a
property on the Carbon River with nearly 800ft of river front access. The levee runs along the length
of the property creating
continuous camping availability.
Please honor the property and adopt the LEAVE NO TRACE habits~ if possible please leave it better than you found it.
We're a casual family friendly

What a lovely view and open space to enjoy! It was a treat to see Lisa with her horse and pony riding in the light of the setting sun. A bit of magic.
The directions were clear to get there. Loved being close to the beach and lighthouse to stroll to. The Bird King was close by as well. A lovely stay.

Amazing experience. My boyfriend and I are first time pop up camper owners, and Bumps & Bruzas was our first destination. Very cool owner and beautiful property. Our spot on the water was perfect for our 14 foot pop up. Made lots of memories in 2 days. Loved the art all over the property, and loved the army of frenchies. Definitely will come back again!

This was one of the best places we have stayed (25 ft Motor-home) with a gorgeous view, super quiet and a fairly empty beach to walk down to where the dog could run free. Will be back since this is a great place to play and Vashon is fun to walk around and get some goodies. On the way , Point Defiance is a great park to check out too.

Loved being able to stay at such a great little local place, and I will be returning. Based on older reviews, I was slightly concerned before arrival, but now, having visited the location, there has been SO much work done and still more to come, as there was construction taking place on cabins.
The bathrooms are a standout as they are clean and work well. The shower has some issues when locating the hot water, but it can be done, and the pressure is great. The dogs are super friendly and do not intrude on your camping space at all after your initial arrival. The ground itself is very hard, making it tough to place tent stakes in the ground. I also highly recommend a sleeping pad when using a tent. Although there was a mix-up with our booking, Pat was quick to explain and made accommodations to upgrade us to the premier campsite everyone comes for.

The property is absolutely gorgeous with a view of the Sound and Mt. Rainier.
That’s what you’re paying for. The extra amenities I’ve experienced at other group sites would’ve included a porta-let and a safe fire pit area.
The owner was a pleasure to work with.

Lisa’s land made our first time car camping adventure special. The pond site had a lovely beach front view and short trail down to the beach. The directions could have used some landmarks like Turn left at the barn.

We were a group of 3 families celebrating a birthday, and we had a fantastic time. The camp spot has gorgeous views, privacy and great river access. The porta potty was very clean, no unpleasant smells with hand sanitizer and TP. We enjoyed waking on the property, spotted 2 foxes and many cool birds, and floated on the river a couple of times. It is really dusty, but it's worth it anyway. We are already making plans to come back, great spot!

This campsite was perfect for our family camping trip. There was plenty of space for both tents and cars. The lights strung around the property were a very nice touch. We also enjoyed the privacy but also close proximity to town.
