We offer a communal fire pit, kitchen & bathroom area in our meadow for refreshing and recharging while meeting magical new souls sharing in the euphoria of nature in an alcohol and tobacco free space.
Ravens Ridge is a short walk from Dabob Bay and the Tarboo Wildlife Preserve and a short drive from Quilcene, WA, the Pearl of the Peninsula, known for its oysters and proximity to some of the best hiking and other outdoor recreation on the Olympic Peninsula. This location provides easy access to trailheads in the Olympic National Forest, Mt Walker Viewpoint, and kayaking in the most pristine and protected inlets of the Salish Sea. Whether you are looking to eat fresh seafood or harvest your own, you will find all your heart desires: wild mushrooms in the fall, fresh nettles in the Spring, whale and seal watching!

We take down the bell tents in late October and put them back up sometime in April, depending on the weather. If you are interested in pitching your own tent on a platform during the cooler months that is an option at a discounted rate.

During the summer months, we often host movie nights at our outdoor theater, offering a unique and captivating experience. Our one-of-a-kind kitchen is equipped with a propane stove/oven and comes complete with dishes and utensils for your convenience. Should you desire fresh vegetables and herbs, our gardens are a bountiful source, and we gladly share their harvest upon request. Indulge in the privacy and comfort of our outdoor shower, featuring on-demand hot water that can be adjusted to your liking. Our main composting toilet, affectionately known as "Louie the first," operates similarly to a porta potty but with the use of sawdust instead of harsh blue chemicals. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and comfort, all while conserving hundreds of gallons of water each week.
For those renting our Lotus tent or the Magical bus you will enjoy the convenience of your own private composting toilet, as well as access to drinking water, a well-equipped kitchenette with spices and cooking oils, hammocks, and more.

9Mile Farm hybrid Tipi experience may not be for everyone if you are uneasy without strong wifi, room service, a roof over your head, a lock on a door, early morning farm noises, or really nature this may not be your cup of tea. Be honest with yourself, does this listing sound intriguing or terrifying? if the latter please rethink before booking.
Please understand that the farm is undergoing constant improvements & various projects may be underway during your visit. We try to keep it tidy but realistically that just isn't always possible.

We do want to emphasize that the space is yours to enjoy and share (in the interest of full disclosure) with an occasional owl, deer, forest mouse, mosquito, bee, spider, snail, bat or slug because one will undoubtedly make an appearance.
