We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Badminton and cornhole available on request. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome!
We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them.
Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer.
We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots.
We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of.
During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like.
Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers**

Kay was out of town while we stayed here but her sister Liz rolled out the red carpet for us! Fresh flowers, warm cookies, firewood, veggies from the garden, and of course the gift of time to show us around the beautiful property! The kids loved feeding the chickens, frolicking in the garden, and tasting the sweet honey from the bees! The site was clean and level and never had bees near us. The views of the mountains and gardens were breathtaking and can be seen right from the site.
We brought our telescope and had great views of the full moon, stars, and even several planets. It was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect little weekend getaway. We will definitely be coming back again! Would recommend for sure

The hosts were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and communicative. There was a little mix up of our site but they immediately informed us before we arrived to work things through and they were there in person to help us get situated. Absolutely lovely people. The spot we stayed at had a pretty view of their property and was recently maintained. I love the smell of fresh cut grass. They mow trails all around their property and I enjoyed walking my dog along the trail in the morning fog. There's an Irish pub at the start of the road to their campground that has fantastic homemade apple pie, definitely get you some pie. Google maps took us to the wrong location so be sure to put in the address they provide. Cape Dissapointment was a 40 minute drive and a perfect destination for hiking and site seing some pretty lighthouses or roaming the beach. If you like old forts there's Fort Columbia on the way as well. All in all, I highly recommend!

Beautiful place with great views of the foothills and Mt. St. Helens. It was only 50 minutes from out house in Oly, which was perfect as we were on a quick getaway when we found ourselves childfree for the weekend. We enjoyed the quiet and Kay's beautiful flower garden. We also enjoyed great stargazing at night from our site. Was easy to park our 31 ft travel trailer. Easy access to water and electricity. Lots of beautiful places to visit around. Kay provided a packet with lots of information, maps, and food recommendations. We really enjoyed Kay's tour of her Bee's. If anyone is hesitant because of Bees, don't be! They are not a nuisance at all. So grateful for her work with them! We would definitely hope to return sometime.

I loved RV camping at this property. It was incredibly quiet during the day. Having the fire pit and table right next to the camping site was perfect. We biked each day on the Banks/ Vernonia trail.
Talon was very friendly and checked in to see if we needed anything. We would definitely camp there again.
