Sure! Here's a simpler and smoother version of your message: --- Site 6 is pretty remote, so it’s very peaceful. It was a little hard to find—though that might very been because we arrived at night—but Bob’s detailed directions helped a lot, and we were able to find our spot on our own. He replies quickly, and we had no issues. There’s a flat area that could fit up to two tents, plus another spot on a slight incline for an extra tent. The round firepit was great—we brought our own firewood and built a big fire. Just keep in mind the site is on a hill, so be careful not to spread out too far from the main area.

This was such a lovely place to camp! Serene pastures with happy horses and a hilarious donkey. Access to a bathroom and shower. And fire pits for building fires. The location was easy to find and so beautiful. Can't wait to go back!

I knew to bring a folding table for our propane stove but forgot it, so we used the grill and table in the gazebo, and it worked great! Was glad we brought the can of OFF, there are ticks in the tall grass, but OFF on our lower legs did the trick. The site is nice, Bob gave us a hot tip where to find some firewood, and we slept great!

In and out with no hassle. Met Bob briefly, signed up for available spot online, and drove right over. Next time I’ll just drive straight to the sight. Very peaceful and quiet horse farm. Will be my go to place to camp when visiting my daughter at UVA.

WOW! Beautiful property, friendly host and lots of amenities to enjoy. We will definitely be back. Our 15-month golden retriever really enjoyed running around, meeting horse friends and swimming in the lake. Note for dog owners—wooded areas and ticks galore. If you let your dogs roam, a tick collar is highly recommended.

Such a beautiful property! I loved seeing the horses walking about. The bathroom/shower were great, even though I drove each time I went since it was a little walk from my campsite. Also great because it’s really close to downtown Charlottesville and to a bunch of hiking spots. Bob was also really helpful and responded to messages fairly quickly! I definitely want to come back!

Super easy to find following Bob’s directions when we arrived at 9pm after a long day of mountain biking. We were on the road again by 9am and didn’t get to check out the property at all, but everyone slept great and we’ll be back, hopefully when we aren’t on such a tight schedule!

Our two nights on Bob’s property was such a positive experience- the meadow provided both expansiveness and privacy for ourselves and our two dogs, all traveling in our campervan. Bob greeted us when we arrived and was available at all times during our stay. Having access to a shower and bathroom at the house was a big plus! We loved camping amidst the horses, it was such fun to come up to the fences and get close. Highly recommend staying at this site!

We had an incredible stay at the farm. Our campsite (#6) was private and serene, only could see one tent in the far distance, everything else woods and nature. In the morning, we said hello to the horses and donkees, all so sweet and cared for...a little equine therapy to start the day. We will definitely be back. Also a plus, we had full cell signal at our site.

We really enjoyed camping here. Our grandson is on UVA baseball team. We were only about 10 minutes from the University ballpark. The site was peaceful and quiet.

This was a 55-acre farm, split in half to accommodate a bypass through Charlottesville, so the previous owners had to give up half the land, and actually moved the house down to the other half of the property! They had to build a land bridge to get to the new home site, so they turned the bridge into a dam and created a beautiful large swimming pond, complete with beach and gazebo. My wife Stephanie and I bought the property in early 2017 and have turned it into a private horse farm, adding pastures, a riding ring, and 6-stall barn. There are ~21 horses who live on the property. The property is unique in that you can hardly see another house from anywhere on the property and yet we are only 2 miles from Barracks Rd. Shopping Center, and 4 miles from the University of Virginia.
