Site 4 - Retreat at Shenandoah Meadows
The campsite 4 is very nice and has good privacy. The bathhouse is clean but needs to be aware that it is all gender bathhouse. When we were there, we didn’t encounter any other ppl in bathroom.

Tiny Cabin 1
Not very private, but great views.
Overall, we had a great time. However, there were a few things that make it difficult to say I would stay again..... Firstly, the tiny cabins (3 of them) are super close. Second, we opted to sleep on the pullout bed on the first floor due to having our dogs, but when you pull out the couch into a bed it then is super uncomfortable and you sink a lot. A new couch is definitely in order. And lastly, while it is awesome that dogs are allowed on leash, off leash we had an experience with another site; while using the walking trail. Her dog was following us. She then wanted me to grab the dogs collar but said he is friendly under some circumstances.....Proceeded to say she didn't want to lock her dog in the car, and used a mobility aide to walk. NO THANKS. It made us super uncomfortable with wanting to utilize the walking path on the campground.... Not the owners fault but overall, will probably be considering this with sites that allow off leash dogs with multiple sites. On a more positive note, the mountains were beautiful, there was a nice pond, screened in porches on the tiny cabins; and the supplied coffee pods and cups were nice.

Site 2 - Retreat at Shenandoah Meadows
Looking Forward to Returning!
We loved this campsite! It was slightly confusing at first to find, but we took screenshots of the provided driving directions beforehand and were able to quickly find it. The area was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed being so close to the fishing pond, which we caught trout and bluegill in. The bathrooms were clean too. We’ll definitely be back!!

Site 6 - Retreat at Shenandoah Meadows
Great camping spot! Clean, very pretty, great view of the mountains. The fact that you’re in a grassy field is great — your gear gets less dirty. The site is close to another, but there are trees that form a pretty good natural barrier. The pond was nice too.
