Camper vans are welcome at the main farm! Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours. The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries. We are a Nature Retreat bordering Nature Conservancy land along a tributary and up and down the Rappahannock River. You can hike along the stream down to the river and up and down the river. You can fish and float the river. There are no trails so a moderate level of fitness and comfort in the forest is needed. You can follow the water ways but it is wilderness. Camping there is primitive but available or you can camp or glamp at Earthwalk Ways Retreat. We are also adjacent to a 50 acre farm on the other side of the creek that is available for hiking. There is a reservoir nearby as well. We are in the midst of the suburbs not far from Fredericksburg, which has some great historic and community places of interest. Our facilities are private and we only rent to one or 2 guests at a time. You can glamp in a trailer, or car camp in a nice campground with power and water or you can go primitive and pack in. All spaces include access to our classical 11 circuit labyrinth and backyard gardens where you can enjoy zen rock garden and other contemplative nature crafts. You can fish and float the river. There are no trails so a moderate level of fitness and comfort in the forest is needed. You can follow the water ways but it is wilderness. Camping there is primitive but available or you can camp or glamp at Earthwalk Ways Retreat. We are also adjacent to a 50 acre farm on the other side of the creek that is available for hiking. We designed the cottage to be a private location, the back deck is surrounding by trees. Your only complaint will be having to go home the next day. Cleaning precautions for everyone are taken to extreme lengths. All linens, pillows, etc. are completely removed and cleaned. All surfaces receive commercial disinfectant and upon the request of the guest we can cordinate fogging services. We apologize in advance that some normal things are removed completely like printed house manuals. We ask that you remove all trash and a few other things upon departing to help us stay safe as well.The internet cannot be guaranteed if there is a problem with the provider. In a wooded area bugs are normal. Loud noise or Guest not on the reservation will result in immediate termination and removal. We have a zero tolerance policy. Our relationship and safety of our neighbors and neighborhood is of upmost importance to us.

We enjoyed a campfire by the river, and loved being so close to Shepherdstown ~1.5 miles away. I hope to return in the warmer seasons!

Had a great time!! It is a very special property and Jennifer was kind to show us the animals and tell us more about the history. The little cabin was comfortable and had all the basic cooking items we needed as well as plenty of water for dishes/handwashing! We enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting at a nearby winery that Jennifer gave us, but overall just hung out at the property and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Also, the outhouse is difficult to see if you arrive at night, but it is there, just a few feet off the trail by the solar lights :)

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here over the weekend. The location was peaceful and absolutely gorgeous with the autumn leaves. The cabin was cozy, and the accommodations were pleasant. The bathhouse was well kept, clean, and maintained. We hung out with our cabin neighbors over a bonfire, and the whole experience was memorable. We will definitly be coming here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! I communicated with Peggy through the HipCamp app, and she was very responsive and helpful. When we arrived, Tony met us at the parking area, showed us to the cabin, and took the time to explain how everything worked. He was incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The cabin itself was spotless, rustic, and very cozy — exactly what we were hoping for. It has just the right amount of amenities: a small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, running water, and just enough hot water for a quick shower. The outdoor shower was one of our favorite parts — it felt peaceful and refreshing every time we used it. Before our trip, we asked if there was a way to cook outside, and Tony went above and beyond. He actually built a wonderful fire pit setup designed for cooking, which we used every day. It was such a fun and memorable part of our stay, and Tony even provided all the firewood we could possibly need. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and surrounded by about one to two miles of lovely hiking trails. It was quiet, private, and felt like our own little hideaway in nature. Tony gave us plenty of space while still being available if we needed anything. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful escape!

We really loved our stay here, such a beautiful location! There’s already a fire pit, grill, hammock and table which is great. Camp cats are a plus for us!!! Usually we tent camp but we have a baby and with the cold nights/mornings this time of year, this was perfect. Loved being close to showers and restrooms - only downfall was people from another location drove multiple cars down and used our already shared bathhouse. The first night was fine as this didn’t happen but the second night and morning there was at least 10 additional people which really made it difficult. We left an hour later than planned because they filled the bathhouse our morning of departure and we had to wait for them to leave. Not sure if this is typical but that was a negative for us as it’s already shared with other cabins.

This wasn't camping...or even glamping, really. This is a small house in a smaller sized residential community. We could see other houses on either side and across the street easily, so it did not feel like a campsite. However, it's a cute little place that has nice accommodations and we were quite comfortable there. We used the charcoal grill one evening and had a fire in the small brick fire pit two out of the three nights we spent there. The location is convenient to Winchester, about 15-20 minutes away.

Very picturesque setting near an eclectic town. I went there by myself, no pets are allowed and it was everything I had hoped for. It was the last day of a week long trip and it is worth staying for multiple days. Views and cabin amenities are numerous and would recommend to future travelers.

This rustic cabin is a true serenity gem! From the moment we arrived, Tony was fantastic—he met us personally, helped us settle in, and made us feel right at home. The cabin itself is full of sweet charm, thoughtfully stocked with all the little necessities, and so well maintained. We spent our days walking along the river and hiking nearby trails, then ended our evenings cozied up by the fire, playing games and soaking in the peace. We truly didn’t want to leave and return to real-life adulting! The location is perfect—close to Skyline Drive and conveniently near stores—yet when you return, it feels like your own private slice of paradise. We’re already looking at dates to come back soon!

The Bunkhouse was an absolutely amazing place for a group literally for over 20 or more I believe! It comes with two common areas and a fridge with a coffee machine and surprisingly wifi! What can not be understated is the campfire area is loaded with natural seating and a grill . If you are worried about comfortable bathroom, do not worry, they have a bathhouse that comes with a both shower and comfort room side and the other half is a multitude of bathrooms and showers equally.

Note: Wifi did not work well at all but only really wanted it to look up nearby places. Sadly it was drizzle so I didn't get to sit by the firepit by the river so I guess I'll have to come back. :-)
