Cotton, tobacco, soybeans and peanuts grow in the fields surrounding our property. Take a nice walk through the woods around a pond to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

From my farm there is a free ferry in Scotland where the ferry departs to Williamsburg just 30 minutes. In the town of Wakefield you’ll find gas stations, dollar stores, a Value food market and if you want (to go) food we have that also. Plus it’s home to The Virginia Diner. Amenities include toilet access, a shower, trash disposal, picnic tables, and potable water. Pets are allowed, as are campfires.

Great location only 15 min off I-95. Far enough away from the city and roads to see the stars at night, close enough for easy access to all modern conveniences. Accessible by a paved road. A path is cut right through the property for ease to find your ideal camping location.
You can park your vehicle off the paved road or on the property itself. There is a creek a few hundred yards into the property that's not crossable by vehicle. A vehicle can pull onto the property via the cutout road but I wouldn’t pull an RV/vehicle with a trailer onto it.

We very much enjoyed our short stay at Marvin's tiny home. The small space is well utilized and feels private and cozy. Our hosts make sure we had everything we needed and addressed our questions and concerns promptly and hospitably. The property is clean and we felt safe and welcome. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

Great spot - camp site was near a barn on a small farm with many animals to say hi to. The kids (6&9) loved running around and checking out the animals. Review from 9 year old: “this is like a five star campsite!”. Candace was welcoming and accommodating - she guided us in at dark and shared some cookies and juice boxes with the kids on the way out. We would stop here again if in the area.

Christopher (the host) made this very simple and frictionless. I texted him before I got there, he met me at the start of the driveway and showed me the camping spot.
It was quiet and the weather was ideal. I walked around the property and checked out the chickens.

My new favorite! Host was very supportive and the property is beautiful. The sites are secluded, yet you are close enough to town if you need to pick up forgotten supplies. The fishing was awesome! Catch and release on several Bass and a few Pickerel.

After a drive through the Norfolk traffic and high temperatures it was a pleasure to arrive at our shaded Peaceful Farm and Forrest Retreat campsite.
Once we positioned our pop-up camper on a very large level campsite we breathed a sigh of relief in a much cooler retreat. Hearing the chickens and wildlife each morning was a pleasure and a tranquil time for our breakfast and coffee treats. Our host greeted us warmly and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will return to watch this farm grow and come into it's mature years.
