A peaceful regenerative farm stay with forest trails, wildlife, and hands-on farm experiences and workshops. Welcome to Organic Roots Farm, a quiet and beautiful regenerative farm surrounded by woodland, flower meadows, and open pasture. Our land offers a peaceful place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the rhythms of farm life. Guests can explore forest trails that wind through the woods all the way to the lake, passing vineyard rows, wildflower meadows, and grazing pasture along the way. The property is rich with wildlife, birdsong, and open skies that make for beautiful stargazing at night. Organic Roots is a working regenerative farm with pasture raised chickens, a vineyard, and a developing pick your own food park, offering a unique opportunity to experience food and farming close to the land. We also have a small yoga studio on the farm, where guests can join peaceful yoga sessions or book private classes surrounded by nature. Near the studio you’ll also find our farm store, where we offer fresh pasture-raised eggs and honey from our bees, along with other seasonal farm products. While the farm feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful, we are still not far from town, making it easy to access groceries, restaurants, and supplies while enjoying a true countryside retreat. Guests may also choose to book additional farm experiences and workshops, including: • Wild foraging walks • Farm chores and animal care experiences • Flatbread cooking over the fire • Yoga classes • Seasonal farm tours and hands-on learning experiences Whether you come to walk the woodland trails, relax by the lake, learn new skills, or simply sit under the stars, Organic Roots Farm offers a calm and grounding place to rest, explore, and reconnect.Wildflower Meadow Camp is a peaceful, private campsite tucked between the forest and our open wildflower meadow at Organic Roots Farm. The heart of the site is a 16 × 14 screened house tucked under the trees. A cozy place to sleep, relax, share a meal, or escape the bugs and occasional rain. Inside you’ll find a king size mattress that folds into a couch, two hammocks, chairs, a table, counter space, a cooler (bring your own ice), and a water jug. If you plan to use the bed, simply bring your own sheets (king size) blankets and pillows. Sleep inside the screened house or pitch your own tents around it and use it as your comfortable hangout space. The site also includes a fire pit and nearby composting toilet. Drinking and washing water is available about a one minute walk away, and a small creek just steps from camp is perfect for exploring. There are no electricity or hookups, keeping the experience simple and close to nature. Serene and cozy farm escape, hammocks under the trees, meadow views, creek adventures, campfires, and a comfortable screened retreat to come back to.

Perfect little escape into nature

Wildflower Meadow Camp

We had a great stay at Wildflower Meadow Camp. The campsite was peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful woods and open meadow, which made it feel like a real escape from everything. The fire pit was a great touch for the evenin,, and having the creek nearby added to the whole experience. The site is definitely primitive, but that’s part of its charm. Everything felt simple, quiet, and connected to nature. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

Wildflower Meadow Camp

After a drive through the Norfolk traffic and high temperatures it was a pleasure to arrive at our shaded Peaceful Farm and Forrest Retreat campsite. Once we positioned our pop-up camper on a very large level campsite we breathed a sigh of relief in a much cooler retreat. Hearing the chickens and wildlife each morning was a pleasure and a tranquil time for our breakfast and coffee treats. Our host greeted us warmly and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will return to watch this farm grow and come into it's mature years.

Wildflower Meadow Camp

Clean area. Plenty of room for a rig or a group. Country store on site, but far away from the camp site. Excellent hosts, kind, excellent communication and great people. Bring your family, or go alone. Great place.
